Wow, Michelle Obama killed it. So, how many years until she runs for president...?

Someone on twitter said " Michelle is writing another great speech for the Trumps." Yeah, that's right.

I'm still shaking my head at the severe contrast between the republican nominee and the DNC ethos.

She's ending her speech in tears.

"I wake up every morning in a house built by slaves...and look at my daughters playing on White House lawn..."

The party seems pretty fractured. You can hear lots of Bernie supporters disrupting things.

^seriously? That's not what I'm catching. The rally around Clinton is remarkable and they are doing a really really good job showing Trumps weasely-ness.

Yes, there are shouts of protest...but even the protesters stop to listen. And, not a single shout of protest during the Flotus speech.

Sanders is on now...and 15 minutes of applause later...there is still applause.

I missed Michelle speak, but the reaction I'm seeing online is positive. Sorry I missed it.
The Sanders people were disruptive for the whole of Warrens speech, from what I was watching.

her speech was tremendous. She set the stage by saying in so many words, "I told you eight years ago Obama is awesome. I wasn't wrong. Now I'm telling you Clinton should be president. I won't be wrong about this either."

Sanders started his speech by saying this election is not about personalities it is about the issues. Now, he is going through each of these issues.

Bernie is the third person to mention a public option for healthcare. I don't remember hearing a lot about that during the primaries. Did I just miss it?

It was one of his main points in his stump speech. He mentioned it almost every time he spoke.

The echo chamber is strong in this one. You guys must be watching another convention, because this is already a total shitshow than all of the RNC. The constant boos, thousands of protestors outside, the DNC leaks on everyone's mind, Bernie rolling over (and most his supporters rejecting it), etc. Pretty funny since everyone swore it was the Reps who were gonna be fractured.

You can only put so much lipstick on a pig before everyone realises what's going on & how messed up this whole thing is with all the collusion. This won't end well for the Dems IMO.

None of the DNC speakers have been certifiably crazy so far. Big difference from the RNC.

Granted, but for better or worse, at least the RNC felt like it was real (and the nominee got there fair & square). This whole thing feels scripted & everyone telling us there is no fire (when the house is burning down).
