New building by Town Center?

What's that new building going up by Town Center and UNF with all of the big flagpoles? I can't tell what it is and although I see a turner construction sign, they don't seem to have any projects here that look similar.

Elwood

Not sure exactly where you are asking about. But I do know that Turner is leading the construction of the new Top Golf facility that sits along the west side of 295 near the entrance to UNF.

New lightning arrestors for Town Center.

(Just joking)

Ground has been cleared across from Arby's and ChikFilA, should start laying the gravel base pretty soon. Red Robin will probably be open by Thanksgiving at this rate.

Loggers have cleared out a huge forested area at Beach and Kernan. It has been forested for the life I have lived here, so I am looking for a site plan or something.  Probably more apartments to serve UNF.

PGP and Cantrell Morgan havent made any progress on breaking ground at the Promenade next door so the Shopping Center Group are really moving along.

With Baptist now open at TC Parkway and StJohns Bluff, this area is really bustling. Just hopes its doesnt bust!

Wawa will be a tenant at the PGP development (The Crossing) north of Bono's:

spuwho, could this be the apartment complex at Tamaya that was announced a couple of months back?

Not sure which part of that corner you were referring to, but if it is, I'm glad to see it's progressing quickly.

These are just the bidding docs.  I'm pretty sure you'll find more of what you're looking for in the umpteenth addenda that they've put out.

Tamaya is the NE corner of Beach/Kernan.

This deforestation is on the SW corner all the way to Kernan Baptist. There are no permit signs anywhere or zoning signs, so I assume it is about to be sold. Usually the Skinners harvest the logs on their properties just before they close a sale, so I assume the same here.

For years this forest hid the older Sans Pareil neighborhood behind it, now you can see it, probably for the first time since it was built back in the 1960's.

Wow, I just checked out the aerial photo on Google Maps; that's a lot of trees!  Must be something substantial.

Single family residential.  Check the SJRWMD website for their ERP.  The first permit was modified to add even more homes.

Does ETM know that those documents are online and publicly accessible?  The link looks to be internal; just curious.

Cedar Swamp Creek flows through the north section of the area crossing under Beach, going behind the FDOT retention pond and then crosses  under Kernan next to the District across from where the trees are coming down.

Thanks for the SJRWMD reference. I will check it out.

Coastal Cove by DR Horton.  ERP#140730-2.  Notice the -1 permit as well.

DR Horton?  They just got their butt kicked by Heron Landing in court for negligence in construction.

Coastal Cove is an odd name considering this is not anywhere near a coastline let alone a cove.

All I will say is every home buyer in that deal best have a home inspector come around because the COJ inspectors are too lenient. We are up to what? 4+ developments that are in court, headed to court, or their HOA is taking action against the builder.
