Colts vs. Jags has been announced as the London game for next season. I'm very surprised that they chose this game. Also, October 2nd is very early in the season especially given that FL/GA game will be played later in the month.

I thought that the NFL wanted to test a team playing back to back in London. It appears that the Washington football team may be the first team to go back to back in London.

^^^I have no problem with the Colts game being in London. It's nice to see a change up from the usual rare NFC game being over there.

I 'really' hope that the Jags have another TNF game vs the Titans next year; make it a trifecta, three years straight! That really would be 'awesome'.

Too bad we lose a usually well-attended division rivalry game to London. But at the same time, that means we get the unfamiliar opponents to Jax which is what some fans had been concerned about. Always pros and cons to which game is sent to London.

I'm disappointed though that we don't get an away game there. Seems like we deserve that at some point.

Originally the run was the Packers game going over there, which would have been bad as that's an easy one to sell tickets for here. Next year we have the NFC North (Green Bay and Minnesota at Home, and Detroit & Chicago on the Road)

The Jaguars, Rams and Bengals will play so-called "home" games in London next season, the NFL announced today.

The Jaguars will "host" the Colts on October 2, 2016 at Wembley Stadium, part of the Jaguars' annual commitment to play at least one game in London.

The Rams will "host" the NFC East team that finishes in the same spot in the standings as the Rams do in their division. That game will take place on October 23 at Twickenham Stadium, the rugby stadium that will be hosting an NFL game for the first time. It won't be known until the end of the season which NFC East team that will be, and it's also unclear right now whether the Rams will be giving up a St. Louis home game or a Los Angeles home game.

The Bengals will "host" Washington on October 30 at Wembley Stadium. It's the first time Cincinnati has given up a home game. It could also make Washington the first team to play back-to-back games in London, if Washington and St. Louis end up in the same place in their respective divisions.

The NFL has not yet announced the kickoff times for the three games. This year, every NFL game in London kicked off at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

The league also may play a fourth International Series game. That might mean playing in Mexico City, or a fourth game in London.

I'm now convinced that we have a severe deficiency at coaching. The overwhelming logic was to run the ball against SD, and we totally abandoned it. We called a series timeouts before the end of the half down 14-9 (which I totally disagreed with to tell you the truth) only to set up Bortles (a QB that's prone to throwing pics, esp across the right flat) to throw a pick. So before receiving my Dicks boneless Georgia girl wings, down in the concourse, we were down 21-9 halftime. I don't care what anyone says, we were way to overaggressive calling those timeouts, esp for a team that haven't yet gotten into the endzone. We executed one successful screen play, and that was the last time you saw it.... Did I mentioned that we abandoned the run?

That loss was embarrassing. Hopefully we will lose the rest of these games so we can get a new coach in here next year. I'm I gonna be rooting for us to lose in the upcoming weeks? No. If we do, will I be okay with that, to see some change next year? Yes. He seems like a good guy and all, but it's time to take the 'Gus Bus' to the scrapyard far as I'm concerned.

Your OC in this case has had a career in developing QB's. Do you think he is going to call run as his primary offense?

I too have been baffled by the play calling by the OC's for several years here in Jax.

I feel like they are trying to force a system on the talent instead of developing a system that complements the talent.

Going back to the days of Blaine, I used to scratch my head at some of the play calling they used to make him execute.

have you noticed this year (or last year for that matter) that the Jags can't really run the ball?  The O-line does ok with pass blocking, but they simply can't open big holes for the running backs.

They can when the pass sets up the run, like on play action. (ie: Denard's run) But running the off tackle stuff has been less than great. I would have to look at the stats to see if they improved over last year. Doug Marrone is a good O-Line coach so I was expecting some level of improvement in this space.

Losing Linder hurt alot. He was their best lineman. I think Cann has played pretty well for a rookie. Beadles has been terrible this year.

So 9 attempts for TJ (an all time low) is enough for the featured back?? SD was prone to get gashed against the run, it's their weakness. I know that our line sucks, abandoning the run isn't the answer though; You have to be patient. May I mention that many of those runs were from the shotgun opposed to conventional run plays (which leads to why I think the coaching sucks).

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Felt bad for Myers when he missed the XP and then kick off through the up-rights with 20yds to spare and the entire stadium booed... Unless he makes a drastic change in the off season I can't see him with the Jags though...
