Eh, I feel like having a thread for the team this year, but no need for one each game.

Looks like there's a huge measuring stick looming tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to catch it on ESPN.

Thanks for the thread.  Alot of smack talk from Louisville fans. Who can blame them? Illinois fans did the same thing.
It will be a big test for the Ospreys.

I expect Pitino to go after UNF physically and force a high foul game. His bench is deeper so they can afford it.

UNF held tough for one half. Second half was a completely different game. Cards were just too big and athletic. Hopefully good lessons for UNF when they enter conference play.

Good first half. They just didnt seem to have the size to get rebounds. Louisville had a ton of second chance points.

Louisville fans were pretty stunned to be down 7 in the first half. Pitino had to go to his bench to pull a sophomore out to stem the 3's.

The Ospreys have an offense problem between 13:00 to about 7:00 left in 2nd halves.

I saw it last year when in the A-Sun Tournament and in the ILL and UT-RGV games this year.  I am not sure if it defenses changing up to combat the threes and they have to adjust or what.

They were up on ILL by 20 and then went into this offensive funk and ILL got within 9. They snapped out of it in time.

In the UT-RGV game the same thing happened, UNF went into a funk, but they only got within 12 before UNF snapped out and blew them out.

USC Upstate beat them last year when they couldnt buy a point in that second half timespan. That is when Ty Greene got hot.

Every team has room to improve, but the Ospreys need to maintain their pluck in the first 8 minutes of the second half.

I see UNI stuffed #1 UNC today.

UNF played UNI last year and got totally blown out. They are a good under rated team.

No doubt UNI is a very good team. They were a 5th-seed in the Tourney last year and I remember when they burst onto the scene by upsetting a #1 Kansas team several years ago on their way to the Sweet 16.

Great first half by the Ospreys, but it was pretty apparent even when UNF was leading/keeping it close, Louisville's size was a big problem. I didn't check the box score but they had a ridiculous amount of offensive rebounds.

Still have hope UNF can pull off another big win before they begin conference play, we shall see.

Another big road test tonight vs St Louis U. It's on Fox Sports Midwest. UNF leads the country in 3-pts made and second in 3 pt %.

Here is what SLU coach Jim Crews had to say to the St Louis newspaper about North Florida. If I didnt know better, I would say he was trying to get his team fired up.

UNF 32 Saint Louis 33 - Halftime.

UNF had an early 5 point lead, but SLU got tough on the boards. UNF started fouling and turning the ball over and SLU built a 7 point edge.

Beech made a steal just before the half and got the deficit down to 1. UNF is shooting 33% from 3 point land.

This game is on Fox Sports Go, the streaming version of Fox Sports. You will need a cable account to get access.

^I am logged in through xfinity but can only see the UFC fight and League of Champions soccer match. I guess you have to actually have Fox Sports Midwest to be able to watch (channel 421 or something)?

They are hurting right now. Down 13 with 5 min to go.

Dallas Moore is missing a lot of shots and making a lot of turnovers.

Beech has 4 fouls.

Coach finally called timeout. Down 16.

Still missing a lot of shots. They have really gone cold.

Down 66-50 at the final TV time out. 3 minutes left.
