I really liked the uniforms and finally found myself rooting for the Jags, so that's all it took.  The goofy helmets actually looked good with the gold uniforms.  I hope they keep these, I can't fully root for a team that is teal.  Go Gold sounds way better than Go Teal!

Yeah, you're definitely in the overwhelming minority in liking that gold Color Rush hypothetical 'home uniform' opposed to the regular home black and teal unis. I (and many Jag fans like me) think the exact opposite, the Jaguars teal alternate jersey (which hasn't been worn yet) IMO should be the Jags regular home jersey, with the black jersey being the alternate.

I think I want to see that Gold top and black pant combo just to see if it works. Not a fan of the look last night but a bunch of people, however, have been saying they *do* like the gold jersey from last night.

^^^I was gonna say that the jersey looks good opposed to the entire 'Oscars' uniform. I agree that gold & black combo would look better (although the Color Rush are seemingly just one single colored uni). I still would keep that gold on an alternate basis.

The gold has grown on me, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again, though maybe without so much gold (try something else with the pants/socks). I've never gotten used to the the teal version of the current jersey, but that may be more about how bad it looks compared to the original jerseys. I'd dump the latest version of the teal in favor of an actual teal throwback they pull out for special occasions.

Love the gold unis cause we're undefeated!!

As far as the aesthetic, I actually was expecting much more bright and brash of a color...these just looked dirty. That said, they grew on me and by the end of the game I thought they were OK. My favorite of all time was the all-black. I'd love to see that a few times a year.

It's amazing how much things look better after a win.  ;D
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Here's a look at what a gold jersey / black pants combo would look like (from @imbillmcneal):

Not too bad.

Last night's game is currently one of Snapchat's Live Stories.

Best game i've been to in a while. I only go to 4 or so games a year so it's been a few years since I've seen a win at Everbank.  The stadium was electrified, our group was rowdy and cheerful, high fives all around! Some say we got lucky on that fumble, but Tenn also got lucky on that interception.

It's getting harder to get tickets though work lately since demand is ramping up. Last year they couldn't give them away!

MusicMan

I also went to the game. There appeared to be a lot of empty seats, which is probably because it was a Thursday night.

But I am certain there were many tickets sold where folks chose to stay home. And these are expensive tickets, too.

I'm probably typical of a bunch of those empty seats -- I didn't make it over from Tallahassee; we had regular soft rain here in the Panhandle, seemed to be regular rain in Jax, and I just decided to stay home and enjoy my Thursday Night Football via flat-screen TV in high def in my house.

I was actually impressed so many people *did* show up. Get that W Thanksgiving Weekend and we'll be in good shape.

It's always tough to get a handle on the empty seats when you walk over the the Bud Zone or Fanduelville and the are ~3k milling around at any given time on the decks.  Oh, and the (threat of) rain......

The lower bowl looked pretty full. I think the weather, the game being on a Thursday night and a mediocre opponent that does not travel well added up to a large number of empty seats in the upper deck. If the team can stay in contention, I have a feeling those Sunday afternoon games will be well attended. I know the Atlanta game will have a quite a few Falcons fans.

Still managed to be 60,121 coming to Everbank Field, which is nothing to sneeze at (esp considering all of those factors). It seems like no matter what their records are, our divisions fans (IND, TEN, and HOU) don't travel well at all. We (the AFC South) probably are the worst 'travelling fans' division; Three relatively new teams, and one team that never was known to have a rabid diehard 'win or lose' fanbase, in Indy. The lack of the division being relatively regional comes into play as well.
