^^^I hate to say it, but I tend to agree. I remember last year vs NYG, he went for a two-point conversation, I was like WTF? That dumb decision could've easily costed us that game. It's like we get regress in the second half, instead of making adjustments and getting better. I already hear some on the radio questioning his overall coaching.

In the game against Carolina this year, he tried to challenge a play that could not be challenged. And he called timeout because he thought 12 men were on the field. There weren't.

The announcers last week mentioned how he blew a timeout early in the second half. And should have declined a penalty when the Dolphins had a delay of game.

It almost seems like the stage is too big for him.

My hope is there an experienced head coach available that can try to rescue this team.

Our division is certainly winnable.  I'm still wishfully hoping for an 8-8 season.....

Go JAGS!!!   :D

Kind of interesting that Luck hasn't practiced in two days for the Colts. Reported as a shoulder injury.

Wow...

Good game Jags. Better luck next week....

I feel so numb with the Jags right now. Just utter disbelief...Indy basically gave us the game, but we didn't wanna take it. Priority #1, find us another kicker (maybe Scobee like JaxNative said). The NFL stands for 'Not For Long'. The Carolina misses, and now this? Yeah I've had enough, and I don't care how young he is.

Hmm. I'm mad your kicker couldn't kick like this against Miami two weeks ago. It's obviously, Philbin needs all the help he can get.

Also, why Scobee? He threw up all over himself Thursday night.

^^^I think that the wind had alot to do with the PIT misses (not making any excuses). I have this feeling that Scobee would not miss twice in practically a controlled environment (I could be wrong).

It's not the kicker, although that hurt a lot. It's our offense. Our GM(and Head Coach) made a mistake, one that will probably cost him his job, by choosing a defensive player with the first round pick. That player has not seen the field, from which I draw the conclusion our defense is good enough to win in the NFL right now with the personnel we have. Meanwhile Amari Cooper, who we actually needed as a deep threat, and a draft choice with a perfect resume and well known terrific work ethic, is scoring lots of touchdowns for Oakland. This is just another in the long line of first round picks that were either a bust or the wrong player. It's nearly impossible to make up for these types of mistakes. Our teams philosophy was supposed to be to build around the draft. It only works when you actually fill the teams needs. At the end of last season, our D was playing well enough to win. Not the O. While I agree the team appears to have improved, if we continue to score 10-16 points per game, we will have a very rough season.

MusicMan, I'd agree that Cooper was about as close to fail-safe as there was in this draft.  However, Fowler hasn't seen the field only because he tore his ACL and is out for the year.

I know. It points we need. The defense is acceptable, as they were for the last half of last season.

Gotta think about long term, not just this year. The goal is for the defense to be good for many years, not acceptable for this year. I'm glad the GM is willing to think long term at the possible expense of his job this year (Though I doubt it)
