Let's hear the predictions.

Off the cuff, I think Jeb is probably the only candidate that could possibly beat Hillary Clinton.

It seams the tea partiers will throw their weight behind Ted Cruz or Rand Paul (and as a compromise Paul Ryan). I doubt either of them will be nominated, which may mean a possible possible third party run...but I think they are too smart for that.

I have my eye on Ben Carson....

The media will be all over him if he decides to run. If he can handle the scrutiny, he deserves a shot, but if he pulls a Perot and wilts when the scrutiny gets to intense then he wont be able to face Hillary at all.

She has a total playbook on media deflection and redirection, and has lots of experience running it. Her opponent must be just as adept or they dont stand a chance.

It will be a very crowded field regardless on the GOP side, and that could produce some very unpredictable results in the nomination process. I don't think Jeb has made a final decision on running, but the shellacking the Democrats took last week will increase the chances that he runs, IMO. His wife probably hates the idea, and if he doesn't run that will probably be why. But daddy and brother W and just about the rest of the Bush clan will be strongly pushing him to run.

Because voters memories are short, I fear he will run and get the nomination.  Given the billions in unaccounted for campaign money that would no doubt go to his side, it can't be discounted that he would win, even against Hillary Clinton.

And don't think that Gore/Bush 2000 and his relationship with Katharine Harris wouldn't be discussed in great detail.  Thats all fresh territory as it was largely given a pass during the tumult of the millennial election year

Stephen, what exactly are you referring to? The fact she was Jeb's Secretary of State?

Katherine Harris has finished her political career (mostly by her own doing), how does she play a role with Jeb if he runs for President?

you don't think that there will be "billions in unaccounted money" on the Hilary side too?

Knowing the publisher of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, I don't think Hillary is electable. I hope to hell not anyway, following Obama the only thing left for her to do would be to change the flag to an all red banner.

MusicMan

Ock, your a Freakin' Nut, man.  Compared to "W" Obama's record is solid gold.

How many people had their guns taken away?  0
How many consecutive months of job growth?  56 with 10.6 million private sector jobs.
Dow Jones Industrial Average, NASDAQ, Russel 2000?  All at record highs.
Corporate profits, at record highs across the board.
American auto industry, record sales and profits.

Number of Americans killed in pointless Middle East Wars in the last two years? You tell me.

Number of dead terrorists leaders since Obama became President?  LOTS.

Number of large scale terrorists attacks on our soil? None I know of.

If it weren't for the damn trickle down economics both parties have embraced since Reagan our economy would be amazing.

Can even one person in America tell me what Jeb Bush has been doing since he left the Governors office?

Hillary is electable and if she gets the right VP then it's gonna happen.  Sorry dude.

Interesting, who is going to be Hillary's VP?

Yes, although probably much less, and largely only to 'cover bets'.  At least the Democrats acknowledge that Citizens United has a dangerous and damaging decision. The GOP only celebrated it, particular Karl Rove.

"Who is going to be Hillary's VP?"

An intelligent (and beautiful) Hispanic woman. Currently not a "politician." But with incredible communication skills and instincts.

Very very smart, well informed, a populist. Progressive.  Can you guess who I am thinking of?

Absolutely the worst president in our history... hell and we though Carter was weak! HA!

BECAUSE REPUBLICANS AND LIBERTARIANS STOPPED HIM!

QuoteHow many consecutive months of job growth?  56 with 10.6 million private sector jobs.
...The bounce, though, has proceeded in agonizingly slow motion. Some eight million jobs have been created under Obama since the mid-2009 end of the recession, with a net gain of about five million.
...Under Obama, the opposite has happened, and those who have given up on working aren't counted as unemployed. Even today, more than five years into the tepid recovery, labor-force participation remains at its lowest level since 1978. Don't blame waves of retirement for that fact: the Census Bureau reported that, from 2005 to 2010, older Americans actually became more likely to be employed. The percentage of 65-69 year-olds remaining in the workforce jumped from 26 percent to 32 percent over a ten-year-period ending in 2012.

Dow Jones Industrial Average, NASDAQ, Russel 2000?  All at record highs.
DOW?...This is worth remembering, because the stock market has been turning in some seductive performances, while the economy has been languishing. The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a new high of 14,222 today; if it remains that lofty throughout the day, it will beat the previous high of 14,164 on 9 October 2007.
...Inevitably, seeing numbers like the Dow rise should feel good. Our gross domestic product isn't going up, having barely scraped out 0.1% last quarter. Our personal income isn't going up, as wages are stagnating. Our employment numbers aren't going up, as we're still short three million jobs lost in the recession.

NASDAQ?... The NASDAQ just hit a recent high, yet here we find that 48.9% of the stocks are down 20% or more from their 52-week highs. The former suggests that the index is strong and ready to push higher. The latter sounds like an index in the midst of a bear market.
FORBES... http://www.forbes.com/sites/advisor/2014/10/07/nasdaq-everything-is-not-as-it-seems/
RUSSEL 2000...he Russell 2000 represents about two-thirds of the number of stocks in the broadest market indices, but less than 10% of the value. As of the last repositioning there was virtually no overlap between the Russell 2000 and the S&P 500 (the S&P's least valuable stock was $2.3 billion and the Russell's most valuable was $2.6 billion.)
...So, the Russell 2000 serves its purpose, but has a major weakness of its own.  As of Russell's latest Fact Sheet (March 31) the largest Russell 2000 name measured $10.6 billion, but the average market cap was $1.888 billion on a dollar-weighted basis. The Russell 2000's median market cap stood at $788 million as of the end of the first quarter.
...The Russell's greatest weakness is it is recalibrated only once a year. There is no way a stock with a $10.6 billion market cap should be in a small-cap index, and there's no way the average market cap for a small cap index should be $1.9 billion.
...The Russell 2000 has some value, but is in no way an indicator of the health of small-cap America. The Russell's poor performance this year represents the investing public's desire to crowd into a few popular names that would be included in larger-cap indices.

QuoteCorporate profits, at record highs across the board.
...Corporate profits are now higher than they've ever been before! At first glance, this might seem like a good thing; except, here's the problem: whenever profit margins reach a high, they often peak and then dramatically crash before the stock market and economy follow in like manner.

Number of Americans killed in pointless Middle East Wars in the last two years? You tell me.
Okay, 575 US troops died in Afghanistan during the Bush presidency. By August 18, 2010, following two troop surges initiated by President Obama, that number had doubled. Today, over 1500 US troops have died in Afghanistan since President Obama took office—and yet, little in that war-torn country has changed. Meanwhile his whimpering has been heard around the world and ISIS has reclaimed most of the territory we liberated under Bush, setting us up for another slow bleed like Vietnam.
QuoteNumber of dead terrorists leaders since Obama became President?  LOTS.
You mean like the ones he set free and sent back to fight us?
A shocking one in six inmates released from Guantanamo Bay prison have returned to terrorism, according to a U.S. intelligence report made public last week.
Of the 603 prisoners set free from the military facility, 100 are confirmed to have rejoined jihad against the West.
These include 17 ex-detainees that are dead, 27 that are in custody and 56 that are still free.

George W. Bush sought and received express congressional authorization for his wars (against al Qaeda and Iraq) and his successor did not. They will puzzle over how Barack Obama the prudent war-powers constitutionalist transformed into a matchless war-powers unilateralist.

QuoteNumber of large scale terrorists attacks on our soil? None I know of.
At one point, Obama said "there have been no large-scale attacks on the United States" since the start of his presidency...(lie) We see two terrorist attacks during Obama's tenure that could be considered "large scale."
...One is the 2009 shooting at Fort Hood, Texas, that left 13 soldiers and civilians dead and more than two dozen others wounded. Nidal Hasan, a psychiatrist and major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, is the only suspect and is now awaiting a military trial.
...The other incident is the bombing at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, that killed three and injured more than 260.  (We aren't including the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya, because it didn't take place on the U.S. mainland.)

Look Stephen! Not a FOX in the house!

Yeah, a red flag for Hillary would be apropos!

Its very apparent that most American have severe memory issues...its was the ideas rules regulations and actions of the republican party that caused one of the worst financial desaster in history...WHY THE FUCK WOULD WE WANT ANOTHER REPUBLICAN IN ANY OFFICE?..
