Yes. And apparently the Herschel Street "Shoppes" adjoining. Sharp Tacks!

It has been grand to have fairly recently, personally witnessed rejuvenation along the Fishweir Creek Woodmere residence waterfront near Herschel Street.

And even though the comprehensive restoration of Fishweir Creek (Southerly RAP Boundary adjoining Fairfax and points westerly to Roosevelt) is for the benefit of all citizens and the resource, the interest and outreach to Restoration initiative is so very positive to both the immediate neighborhood and the City in general. Of Course!

KG, Being introduced at the 10/28/14 Jacksonville city council meeting will be 2014-700 Miller Creek Special District with a Public Hearing 11/12/14. Will this be sent to Waterways?

Two days later will be the Community First FIND subcommittee meeting of the great LOST at 2pm in council chambers. Gary Anderson is the Chair.
Will the NEW super duper secret Downtown Docking Zone map be made available so as to have an open informed FIND grant application process as this is our property tax money? Probably not.

My all time favorite FIND project would be the Jim Love, Kevin Kuzel, 26' Berkman Floating Dock Compromise (Shipyards III) misrepresented by OGC to the Jacksonville Waterways Commission during the 2013 FIND grant application process. it wasn't my idea. I had nothing to do with it. What an Element for Rivers Edge Access. So DIA positive. This was also verified with then Jacksonville Waterways Commission member and city council member Lori Boyer, Dist. 5 with an OGC opinion on Catherine St. Very Positive.

Pottsburg Creek dredge?
Fishweir Creek dredge?
Miller Creek dredge?

Are there any District 14 FIND projects on the list?

Although the health of neighborhood waterways greatly enhances the waterway neighborhoods, the restoration of river system waterways benefits the entire city,public- it's not solely about any individual neighborhood waterway property owner's specific outlook, interest.

Like RAP & Ortega,BOA is defined by waterway boundary- a certain "Limit" to Growth, and driver towards Definition,Placement & function.

When FIND meetings and general related coverage become routine FTU item (FTU/MJ Partnership???),we might then see hint to emerging shift, public access initiatives....or bored readers. 8)
