Wespac Midstream pays $11.75M for LNG site

California-based energy group Wespac Midstream LLC purchased 36 acres of industrial waterfront land near the Jacksonville Port Authority's Dames Point Marine Terminal for $11.75 million from CertainTeed Gypsum and Ceiling Manufacturing, according to a deed filed Thursday.

Wespac plans to build a liquefied natural gas manufacturing plant on the site at 9225 Dames Point Road, formally a drywall manufacturing plant, according to a news release from Colliers International.
