I'm kind of what you'd call a die-hard, and I'm agreeing with that comment.  SMDH.

You guys should get the red zone

I had tickets, but a last minute babysitter flake-out changed the plans a bit.

This is Karma in action.  If I were saying the things in front of strangers that I'm saying to my television, I might end up in one of those riverfront condos for the night.

You have every right as a paying member to say what you want to say.

Bortles starting the second half.

Hmm. I've seen at least two sure Henne sacks that Bortles escaped. Now two of his throws should have been picks but it is exciting watching the kid.

Agreed.

The bigger issue is still why in the hell are defenders allowed a free run at the QB on a bootleg.

can't stop watching the train wreck. at least i'm getting to see #5 get his shot at it.

how can a defensive minded coach have such a soft defense?

Non-RedNeck Westsider

Well, the Bortles era has officially begun.

We still can't block.  We still can't play defense.  We still have a hard time catching passes.  We still have a hard time running the ball.

But you're at least worth watching now.

But it still beats the hell out of watching chad henne any day.

Of the two picks he threw, the first pick was a bit under thrown, but Robinson should have helped him a little and broke it up. The second pick was all Bortles, and it was awful

Regardless, he looked comfortable back there, like the stage wasn't too big for him.

That first half was as ugly a scene as I've ever witnessed at our stadium. To those who didn't go, did the booing and "We Want Bortles" chants come across as loudly on television as they did in person? Happy to see Bortles take over, but the product that the Jags have put out for the last three years is absolutely unacceptable. There's a difference between rebuilding and going into halftime down 30-0. Sick of the excuses. Sick of people telling Jags fans to be patient. We have lost 15 of our last 17 home games. Time for this franchise to get its act together and start producing a few wins.
