I'm a little confused on this. Are the new routes planned yet, or still in the planning stages? If they are planned, is information on the new routes currently available anywhere?

MJ posters...please go on the website listed above and join the conversation...this is an open forum set up by JTA...many of the ideas discussed on MJ over the last 5+ years should be brought up again.

This is refreshingly open and self-analyzing. Good move, JTA, now follow-up strong and we'll be moving right along!

Just nosing around the Internet I found this:

Don't know whether it's been published here before.

JTA is rolling out some new and creative ideas lately. Kudos.

That's from 2008. Those routes no longer exist.

When I'm traveling I often use TransitTimes+, rather than NextBus, the app that JTA has been testing for an eternity and promises to roll out with their revised network. (Why wait? Why not now?)

The Australian developers of TransitTimes+ invite users to request additional transit systems.  The app is already available for Miami, Tampa, Orlando and oodles of systems around the planet.  (Their website: http://transittimesapp.com/).

So I requested they add JTA to their inventory of systems.  Here's their reply:

It appears that at this time JTA do not make their developer data available to third-party developers such as myself.

Cheers

As will NextBus.

They seem to be already testing NextBus on the AR6:

Good god it is about time- other transit agencies have been doing this for years.  At this rate can we expect WIFI on buses by the year 2030?
