I cant say enough wonderful things about this event. A true community effort. Go for the game, stay for the best kept secret in fireworks watching, and enjoy the community and camaraderie.

who is allowed to play in this game?

As i understand it JaxNative68, it is based on the side of Springfield you live. East of Main or West of Main. :)
Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

One day I would like to see San Marco take on Springfield in baseball. Mostly because I want one of those sweet hats.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Way back when I was helping organize this, we had dreams of Springfield VS other urban neighborhoods, with a neighborhood championship played at JP Smalls Field. Sadly it never got traction.

I still think it would be an awesome thing to see!

Bumping this up for today.

This should an awesome event today.

Always fun & chill.

Bring a tent, picnic blanket or folding chairs - there bleachers won't hold everyone.

Baby's Bad Ass Burgers food truck will be there and the Springfield Mommies Group will be selling concessions too.

A film crew will be shooting footage.
