Overstreet

The parking lot at the WalMart Market (grocery) that replaced Food Lion is usually full. Compared to empty it was after FL moved out.

QuoteWal-Mart Neighborhood Market

This is not a 100,000 square foot shopping center. Its a neighborhood grocery store.

I'm not sure what I said wrong....

You did not say anything wrong. Wal-Mart has a new concept of neighborhood grocery stores, the colors are green - jab at Publix - and much smaller footprints that the Wal-Mart Super Stores where they feature the crap, er, family goods on one side and grocery on the other.

I'd like to see more of the neighborhood stores, personally.

The new Walmart Supercenter for Jacksonville's Westside appears to be moving forward.
The current owner of the site, Thomas Dumas, has applied for a city building permit for a $7.8 million, 194,600-square-foot retail building. The site is at 7075 Collins Road, near the Interstate 295 interchange.

Traffic will be a nightmare over there. Collins is only two lanes at that point. Have fun with that.

If the gas tax is extended, I believe Collins is one of the road expansion projects that will be funded by it.
