If the Texans take Bridgewater, what do you think of trading a second round pick for Kirk Cousins?

Thats a high pick for an unknown that someone else already drafted in the 4th round, what makes you think he's worth a 2nd now? He has 7 TD's and 7 INT's, 8 yard per pass average.
He's no different than Matt Flynn.
Caldwell will not make that trade.

We need all our picks, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd round pick for Kirk Cousins??? are you serious? this is a joke right?

Hey..the Redskins are playing him in the hopes that he looks good enough for someone to trade give up their first round pick..which the Skins need because they traded the house away a few years ago to move up 2 spots and take RG3

Keith-N-Jax

Not just their house, they traded their city away.

Bridgewater said yesterday he may stay in, he's only a jr.

We have so many holes on the offensive line, we could do a lot worse than Henne for a season or 2. Stanzi needs to go, he has no use as #3 QB. We have Robinson who can play QB if needed.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

No homerun QBs in the draft and too many holes to fill.

BAP and pick up FAs who are solid up-and-comers coming out of their rookie or second contract.  Don't read that as I expect them to go crazy and set the market (cough, Paul Posluzsny, cough [though this is one of the better pickups]), but expect more younger guys coming in on 2-3 year deals without a whole lot of $$$$ up-front.

We have the cap room to pretty much do what we want, and even though we have to spend X amount on a minimum payroll, I expect us to remain one of the cap favorable teams for the foreseeable future.  At least until the core is built and we make a run at a top player or two that fit our team strategy and will fill some holes.

I'm thinking more of the Alan Ball / Roy Miller type signings.
A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Agree 100%
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

+1. That's what we need.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

So I was bored last night and watched the entire Jags vs Bucs game from 1998 (dont judge me). I was a junior in high school back then and absolutely hated sports, so when I watch old games its literally my first time seeing them. But anyways, It was a rough game. We were 7-2 and Tampa was 4-5. Tampa defensive front gave us issues all night, we couldnt stop the A-train, Burnell had a Groin injuiry, Macardell was playing through a should injury,  the offense wasnt moving and looked terrible, but some how we won that damn game. That type of play Ive seen building in our current team. Just the determination to win and overcoming adversity. Of course they are not all the way there yet, but the arrow is pointing all the way up.

PS. Coughlin was a mad man. He was half way on the field screaming and throwing his hands all night. He has changed alot.

I know that people are gonna disagree with me like always, and I hate to beat a dead horse but Shad Khan has to get rid of those security barriers, and pedestrian barricades at EverBank Field. I love Khan, but I don't know what he was thinking about (I'm not trying to turn this into a Khan vs Weaver thing). I don't really know how Gates 1, and 4 are set up, but Gate 2, and specifically Gate 3 are a complete clusterf@*k. Those barriers has got to go, and I'm gonna tell you why...

First of all, they make the atmosphere very ghetto. Gate 3 looks like the outside of a freaking embassy with all of those unsightly security barriers. Those concrete security barriers are designed for embassies and heavy road construction; Most of them aren't even set up to 'block off' anything, as all they do is get in the way of foot traffic. The steel pedestrian barricades are set up very stupidly (esp on Gate 3). It funnels you to the left (after crossing Gator Bowl Blvd, on Duval St) even if you don't wanna go to the left after crossing the street for godsakes!!! There's people like me that wanna go to Gate 2 after crossing GBB, on Duval  but you'll have to be forced to the left, then you will be entrapped all in Gate 3's mess, while wanting to go RIGHT to Gate 2 all along.

It's also very intimidating with all of the officers STERNLY directing you to go to places that you don't wanna. At the Bills game, someone even 'pushed a hole' in the pedestrian barricades at Gate 3, in which many people, including me and my friend flooded into. Everyone that I know hates those barricades! Mind you, this barricade crap was BEFORE the NFL's 'clear bag instead of purse' thing. Before these barricades were put up, everything was completely okay. I never heard of a fan getting hit crossing the street, or anything like that. So if you like the 3rd World look, the barricades are fine...No one has to agree with me, that's okay; Although if you go through Gate 3, lie to yourself and say that it's perfectly fine from the pre-barricades era....

I wish that we could have sent off Meest with a win at home, but atleast it was a hard fought game, not to sound too cliched. Of course I was rooting for the Jags to win the game, but in the long term of things; I'll be lying if I do not have the lil' part of me saying "Yay, better draft pick!!!"  ;)
