Here's a synopsis of the page I used to figure it out.

The first step you need to take is to copy  the video URL or Copy Embed html of the youtube video. you can do that by right- clicking on the video to see what you can copy. it is assume you are on PC. lol

If you make use of the Copy video URL, You will get a URL similar to this below:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0Yq-Rolcm8&feature=player_detailpage

we are making use of the Copy video URL

Now that you have the video URL  copied to either a notepad or any other text editor  replace "watch?v=" in the URL with "v/' then the YouTube URL becomes

http://www.youtube.com/v/-0Yq-Rolcm8&feature=player_detailpage
(a simple and clean URL isn't it?)

Now copy the URL into the SMF  message body of a new post and embed it with a flash tag [flash]http://[/flash] just like this

[flash]http://www.youtube.com/v/-0Yq-Rolcm8&feature=player_detailpage[/flash]
   
make sure you have include a subject before posting or previewing it.

Gosh, I wish we could have it all set up for us like on FB.  All you have to do is click on the link and when you post it the video automatically shows up.  I guess that would take some fancy programing though.
