Help with a good vet in town?

Drs. Athey and Lincoln over at Ft. Caroline Animal Clinic. It's a bit of a drive, but that's the place to go.

I've been taking my animals to Dr.Sadderson for 10+ years. Right now she only works Tuesday/Thursday at the Brentwood Animal Clinic.

+1 on Dr. Satteshan at Brentwood Animal Clinic. We had multiple bad experiences at Riverside Animal Clinic on very routine stuff--vaccinations, boarding, etc. Thankfully we found Brentwood Animal Clinic before our golden retriever need several surgeries.

I also highly recommend Creature Comforts for boarding. They're great.

I know this thread pertains to dogs. But, if any cat owners are lurking, I have been using A Cat Clinic in Mandarin for over 16 years. They can be reached at 260-6369. There is a second location at the beach too! They may be able to refer you to a clinic that caters to dogs much like they do to cats! 

Also, it has to be mentioned, let's not forget First Coast No More Homeless Pets. They offer care for both cats and dogs as well as surgeries at reduced costs! Walk ins welcome. Best to call ahead and get those hours first. Their main number: 425-0005.

I was going to San Juan Animal Clinic but I was unhappy with there treatment of my oldest cat. I now go to http://www.brentwoodanimalclinic.com/ and see both Dr. Hightman and Dr. Lynn Sattesahn and I am much happier with them.

One more review. Riverside Animal Clinic pissed me off. My cat ate a poisonous plant one time. I brought her when they opened they waited until noon to treat her. Wont ever go back. Some people love them not me.

I won't take my dogs to any other vet but San Juan Animal Hospital. The doctors are GREAT. They are a little pricey but worth it for the care they give them. I never feel like I'm being rushed out. I've never had a long wait there.
