Ive started my scouting of the QB class of 2014 and I like what I see from bridgewater so far. I seen some bad plays, and a bunch of good ones to go along with it. He's fast and athletic, and I like that he can make plays in a crowded pocket with defenders right in his face. Of course, Im not scout or GM, so what do I know. LOL Im going to watch some more video of him, then start looking at Boyd and Manzeil. (can you tell that Im bored? LMAO)

Arguably the biggest game of his career, and he just completely caved under the pressure.

I was impressed with Boyd in games against LSU and Georgia. But yes, he looked bad against FSU. I am also sort of lukewarm on Mettenberger, Murray and McCarron. I think they are all just average and benefit from playing with great skill players. Bridgewater is the man and if we get the first pick, he will be a Jaguar. I like watching Manziel play but I don't see him holding up in the NFL. He will be another Mike Vick. Very good player but never able to play 16 games.

On field, Blackmon is a monster, leave the off field stuff to the trolls, he was awesome yesterday and is coming into why we picked him as our playmaker.

I must have missed this earlier. 

I would enjoy nothing more than being able to ignore his off-field antics, but fact of the matter is that if he gets busted on another substance issue, then he's gone for an entire year. 

That's something that can not be ignored.

Well kids, I understand that this is a business, and you can be one hell of an athlete, but if you're a dumbass things can and will bite you in the ass.

For starters, getting a DUI after you're drafted, but before you've signed your contract.  Not smart.

I'll give GS credit for the structuring of JB's contract.  At least when we cut him or trade him to start the season (if we have to wait that long - I'm not sure if you can move suspended players) we're not on the hook for a monster contract, we didn't pay a lot up front and overall, we've gotten what we've paid for so far.  I'd be ecstatic if we could move him for a 3rd/4th rounder right now.  SMH.

Combining the four-game suspension with the eight-game suspension, Blackmon lost $966,000 in base salary.  He also forfeits $1.33 million of signing bonus money for the 12 games missed in 2013, and he jeopardizes $3 million in signing-bonus money that was carved out of his signing bonus and converted to 2014 and 2015 roster bonuses.

That's a total cost for now of $2.296 million, plus another possible $3.09 million if he doesn't return to the league, or if the Jaguars cut him.

He'll also lose base salary of $2.072 million and $2.914 million if he doesn't return to the NFL, or if he's cut by the Jaguars.

That's a total actual and potential loss of $10.372 million.
