Why do Miami fans dress up like empty seats?   :-X

Cause the bandwagon doesn't come out til November.

and then immediately ends after the first loss.

Never thought I'd say it, but I miss the old Orange Bowl.

Dumpy, rough neighborhood, but it certainly had character.

Also, the programmer responsible for whatever glitch caused Florida State to fall back to #3 needs to be fired.

There has been some good Nole Cane trash talk in the office this morning seems like years past.

agreed....I refuse to go to a game at Joe Robbie (yes I called it that) because the place has no character...being at the Orange Bowl games in 2000 and 2002 were awesome experiences, even though FSU lost both at the end.

As to dropping to #3, that was expected....Oregon played a ranked team while FSU played a rank team....with a win, it will switch again this week because Orego has a bye before their matchup with Stanford next Thursday night...if the Ducks win that one, the rankings will likely flip again

^LOL, good one.

Just don't forget what happened right after this classic!

sorry lake...I wasn't around to see the 1988 drubbing in Miami....but I did witness in person the 47-0 shutout of Miami in Tally when they were on probation on 1997...wait, aren't they under sanctions again now?

I heard the UM Boosters have pulled out all the stops and rented a 15 passenger vans so they can bring their boosters and tailgating gear to the game with them.

(Shamelessly stolen from another message board)

I will be cheering for the sinkholes this weekend in Tallahassee....Preferably one the size of Kingsley Lake  8)

^With FSU and UM gone, UF could sniff the field of the elite by being UCF's waterboy!

I hated seeing the OB go up in smoke also.  It was blight, as far as stadiums go these days, but it had character and was an intimidating place for opposing teams to play.  Joe Robbie or whatever it's called today, clearly isn't.

Don't worry yourselfs about BCS rankings. Miss Cleo has predicted a bus ride to Atlanta and lots of peaches for your bowl game this year.

UM was disrespected then and the result was a 31-0 beat down.  Now, 3 touchdown dogs?  Although he'll see lots orange while laying on his back gasping for air, Jameis will discover that Clemson won't be present Saturday night. Welcome to the grown man's version of D-1 football, Cinderella. It's midnight.

Good lord, the days of watching the likes of Ryan Clement and Scott Covington as QB.  Luckily, it didn't last as long as the Chris Rix era. I decided to go into work that day instead of watching that game.  That was the best place in Tally to get away from FSU fans during game day.  Being right down the street from Free Shoes University's campus, the drunkards get their beer early and the place goes silent for the rest of the day.

I know it's been one long week and all since that NCAA ruling came down, so it's easy to forget the name Nevin Shapiro but...

Obviously photoshopped by NCAA wicthhunters. They run a tight ship down there in Coral Gables. ;)

Oh Lake,  isn't Monday morning a little early to be getting into the bottles of Cris from ol' Nevin.

UM and FSU haven't been elite in a long time.
