Random thought. Tom Coughlin's and old and new teams are both winless. Aint that some shit  ;D

You got me thinking, DD....

Here's what I think about all these asses pulling stats that fit their commentary - Jags v/s Manning in October - 2-2.  We've got a 50/50 shot at this one boys!

Playing the under, Jags cover.  Cha-fucking-ching.....

But Lake fixed it.  Thanks for pointing it out.

Nice to see Justin Blackmon come off the bench, for 4 weeks, and contribute to the offense. I am glad Henne will be there to hopefully make better throws to the receivers, Jags could have had 21-28 points in the first qtr with some good throws.

Blackmon makes the offense better, no matter who is the QB. Nice to be proven right by the players you know are playmakers.

Agree with the points.  Regardless, the pick-6 and the INT in the endzone could have been a potential 28 pt differential - take 14 away from them and add to our column.

I still don't think Henne's the answer, nor do I think he's much of an upgrade over Gabbert.  They've both had opportunity to silence the critics, and they both have failed to show much promise.

No one posting in this thread thought otherwise about Blackmon improving the team.

I still don't think you grasp the concept that he makes everyone better just by being out there to draw coverage.  If Shorts isn't out there as well, Blackmon's production goes in the crapper, too.  The opposing defense will be allowed to essentially double cover him every play using a CB at the line and a safety over the top.  With both out there, the FS has to play centerfield, more or less, and can't really commit until he gets a better feel of the play.  That, in turn, will leave either a LB or a SS covering Sanders in the slot and if we ever could get Lewis back, that opens it up even more.  It's strictly a numbers game, and you beat that by having Robinson and/or Sanders stepping up and showing they're better than their draft selection.... Neither has done that yet.

Even after the way Eli's played this season, I'd still find it pretty far fetched to think that they would use their first round pick on a QB.

They're more likely to take OL or Clowney....  But I'm even starting to doubt that he'll (Clowney) is even going to be a top 10 pick.  Worst decision he made was to stay and play if he was concerned with getting hurt.

In the event that we end up tied at the bottom at the end of the season, draft order would be determined by strength of schedule, correct? How do we rank relative the other winless teams?

After whose performance last night? The Giants or Bridgewater?

I wasn't referring to the Giants....I assume that picture is Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville and he did not look good against Rutgers

I wouldnt think its fair to sum up his career because of one bad game. Am I missing something?

If 300 yards and 2 TD's is "not good", I will take that in Jacksonville.

I'm fine if a QB doesn't throw 8 TDs in every game!

I like Bridgewater, but I'm not convinced that he's a legacy/franchise guy worthy of #1 overall - yet.  I think that this was supposed to be his coming out game & an opportunity to solidify his place in the Heisman hunt considering that so many scouts were in attendance & it was nationally televised.  Louisville has absolutely no one left on the schedule.  David Carr's little brother threw for 450+ & five TD's against Rutgers - that was the barometer.....

Anyone is better than what we have, so I think the first pick may be best suited for best player overall.

I really hope the Jags can turn their #1 pick into a couple First rounders.  We need more OL help to give a QB a chance whoever that may end up being.  There are many holes in the roster and I feel that we need more picks to fill those holes with first round talent.
