I agree with the idea that the sun and the moon cannot be long hidden.  But the very existence of churches and revealed religions and gods in the minds of men proves that the truth can be hidden for thousands of years from the followers of these imaginary systems, fabricated from the minds of deluded men.

This is one of the biggest challenges with the churches today, because they don't know how to be open-minded with their community. Trust me, I have been to plenty of churches in my lifetime, and it doesn't help when each church continues to be localized to its core group of people that would morph its church into that style, niche, or sub-culture that would alienate few members. Once some of those members leaves for another different church, or not even attend the churches anymore, the entire cycle comes to its full complete circle.

Trust me, there are better way to introduce your gospel in an intelligent and approachable way that some people would find the time to be willing to listen.

A lot of Churches now days have services at 8:30am so you could still go, then do your shopping/errands. God would like to see you this Sunday September 15th 2013. 

Ahh, but then I'll almost definitely miss CBS Sunday Morning. Can god just watch me when I'm sleeping, and when I'm awake, or whatever? Or is that Santa Claus?

Why thank you, IILY, as a matter of fact I will, just as every other Sunday that I'm in Jax (since 2002) be at the 8am mass at Immaculate Conception.

You do not have to attend a church in order to have an open heart, to ask forgiveness, to live your life as a Christian, or to believe in God (or whatever name one wishes to use) Church, in my opinion is for those who feel the need to be there. I, for one, do not. Church is within oneself.

Good for you Springfielder! But here is what Going to Church means to me. It's fellowship cult-like, you get to be around other people that make you feel at home have all drank the kool-aid that we refer to as Jesus' blood while still waiting to ascend to heaven. The reason I talked about forgiveness and open ones heart was for Ben says and Ronchamblin so you will forgive me as I blindly follow an ancient text that believes opening another's heart is OK if they did it to someone first; eye for an eye and all that jazz. It was my mistake to put JayBird with these other gentlemen.

So in all fairness, I've made it easier for our readers to find something that fits their belief, although it may not align with your own.  BTW, this is only my physical body typing on the keyboard.  The words and thoughts are definitely coming from somewhere else.  ;-)
