was Justin Blackmon drunk tonight?

I-10east

^^^In the Jaguars post game on 690 AM, many people thought that Blackmon had that Randy Moss-esque 'don't care' attitude because of this combination; He didn't start, it being the 4th preseason game, and the month long suspension in the regular season. Those vibes certainly didn't sit well with many of the fans.

Oh! I don't see mtraininjax anywhere? Does he really exist? Hmmmmm...  :D

By the way, all posts by mtraininjax are non-existent thanks to my extension on my Chrome that removes the entire post section via HTML markup (Sorry, I am just a web developer). mtraininjax has the full right to express his opinion, but I have my own right to conceal or ignore anything that I don't find redeemable to my interest, even my respect as well.

mtraininjax, some of your posts are still very weak, including failing to back up your answers with support. You seems to be pessimistic about Jacksonville (JAX) Jaguars. Come on man, come join with me with some beers, and let me show you the team in a new light. I know that you are a season ticket holder, and I am not, but it doesn't give you the right to be fussy and negative about Jaguars.

Can I tell you that the regular season has NOT started yet? Please retain your negativity and negative opinions until we are deep into the regular season AND Jaguars being horrible. I will pray that will not come to that. You know,  since the glorious days of the '96-'98, this year is the first time we finally have this kind of stability and common sense in this team with the management, team players, staff, AND the owner.

Just be happy that your old faithful Jaguars haven't moved anywhere.

For those of you who may not know about the abbreviation change, it was Chris Burdett, an awesome video / graphic designer at Jacksonville Jaguars who made the abbreviation change possible by contacting directly NFL with the support of the fans to change JAC to JAX. Many kudos to him and fans! This pleases JaXson DeVille very well.

Happy Friday, y'all!

I completely agree. For the first time in a LONG time, the franchise seems normal. Regardless of anyone elses opinon, things are pointing WAY up for us. Even people that are not huge Jags or football fans have been stopping by my desk and talking about how good everything is going with the team.

On another note, I pray to god gabbert can start next week and be effective. If not, were going to have a problem.  Henne is SO incosistant and cant stop turning the ball over. I now see why they named Gabbert the starter. Regardless of what Gabbert is young and has a lot up side. Henne is a veteran who has already hit his ceiling and is not getting any better.

Not gonna lie, cutting LB Jeremy Cain surprised me

Honestly, I don't understand why they cut Zelenka. They cut him because he wasn't good at downfield tackling, but he was so consistent with his snaps. You miss a downfield tackle, theres a few things that might happen, but a bad snap is usually epic disaster.

Plus, he was a great personality

As a proud owner of a Joe Z jersey, I endorse this wholeheartedly.

Because of the way minimum salaries increase, players have a minimum salary of close to a million dollars a year after a certain point. They can find a younger guy to do the same job for half the price. Be honest. Was there a drop off from Zelenka to Cain?

Wacca Pilatka

There really wasn't, my pro-Z biases aside.  I can only remember one bad snap in four years with Cain.  A FG attempt against San Diego.

Hopefully there will be no dropoff from Cain to Tinker either.

I'm not sure why you threw that it there, as it seemed very out of place and haphazard, but whatever. To be honest, I'm sick of the mere mention of 'the Jags leaving town'; Typically said by the kneejerk haters on the radio/newspaper after a bad loss. Jacksonville: The only NFL city when a bad loss leads directly to the team leaving the city....

^ I can't make it down from VA for the opener, but will be at the Colts game at the end of Sept. if anyone wants to meet up then.
