Tommy's is the only place in town to get a bologna omelet -- and a hearty breakfast is under $5

I just wish they were open more.

Pinegrove's steak in a sack is probably the best I've ever had.  They do a great breakfast also.

They are the bomb. Some of the best food in town.

@fsujax, have you visited Arden's for their seafood buffet?

Debbie Thompson

The Sultan sandwich shop on Philips Highway, across from the old Philips Mall, has the best steak-in-a-sack I ever ate, although I have not tried Pinegrove, so clearly now I have to go check it out.

i have Cat. It is not bad. Fried catfish, cheese-grits, collard greens probably the best for that day, which is on Friday.

Are they only open during the work week and closed on the weekends?

Ardens has a much bigger selection, but no Art! the food is comparable. Checkers may be slightly better.

Yes. And very limited hours during the work week, too. Closed by 10 (11?) if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks Ben.  Want to sneak over someday and try one of the breakfasts I hear so much about.  :)
