2nd Annual French Week...Forgotten?

If I remember correctly there was a little more buzz about French Week last year. It looks like Visit Jacksonville is going to let this pass with out much fanfare. From the event page the only interesting thing I see happening is the "The Tournées French Film Festival- Presented by Edward Waters College" . The last showing is tomorrow at 2pm. There is also the "Commemoration of the Landing of French Explorer Jean Ribault" on May 4th. Other than that, restaurants are creating special menu items including French Fry Heaven.
