Concerning the new Jags gear, I can't wait for the more 'imaginative' designs to come out other than a plain white, black or or gray shirt with the new Jags logo on it; I'm not terribly big on the shield 'JAGS' design myself. I'm looking forward to the future creations.

Apparently the Jags met with Geno Smith today after pro day.

Thoughts on Geno?

Too small for the NFL?

Yea. I went to the stadium and bought a shirt the other day. Of course, there will be a ton of designs coming out. That will take some time though. We'll see what they come up with.

you know, ive been looking at him lately. Watching some film (aka youtube haha) and I dont see what everyone is saying. He looks fine to me. His passes are AWESOME. He can throw zip and touch passes, and he VERY atheletic. his footwork need some attention, but thats not anything major. As far as his size, they said Russell Wilson was too small for the NFL so I dunno. If they draft him, I would not be upset at all.

QuoteJaguars re-sign cornerback Antwaun Molden

With only two cornerbacks under contract for next season, the Jacksonville Jaguars needed to bolster their numbers in the defensive backfield.

They took a first step in doing so by re-signing one of their own on Thursday. According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, the Jaguars re-signed Antwaun Molden to a one-year veteran minimum deal.

Molden appeared in just three games for the Jaguars last season and made just one tackle largely only serving in special teams duty. Mike Harris and Kevin Rutland are the only other cornerbacks currently under contract with the Jaguars for next season.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I think much, much more will come out at about draft time, probably at the same time the new jerseys are released.

$27 for a simple grey screened T-shirt (off brand, since Nike is still delayed) - I didn't realize that Sports Mania was more of a boutique now..... ;)

- Still had to get my new hat, though.

27.00? I got mine from the stadium. It was 22.00 with 10% off.

I'm hoping all of the Geno interest is merely a smoke screen to make the #2 pick look more valuable.

Trading the #2 pick for more picks is what I hope they do, if they can get maximum value.  From what I have seen Caldwell is going to build this team slowly.  So I would expect another lack luster year out of the Jags in 2013 with the 2014 draft and F/A being a bigger part of building this team into a winner.

Yeah. I would like to hoard some draft picks also. We need as many as we can get. I think we can wing the QB situation for another year. If we improve in other areas, we can have alteast a 7 win season regardless of who is at QB. I am okay with taking that lump, and waiting until 2014 to draft another QB.

I want more picks, badly.  Hope there is a market for the #2 spot.  If not, hope there is a market for any of our other spots.

Forsett is a great move.  I really like his style.  Plus he gives the kick return game a boost.  I always thought he was under-utilized in Houston and Seattle.

Also signed Roy Miller and Alan Ball.  Ball is a depth guy who can play CB and S and can start in a pinch.  Five years with Dallas, one with Houston.  Miller is a hybrid DE/DT who started two out of the last three years in Tampa, and seemingly fits the hybrid Bradley defense pretty well.

Miller look likes a great fit in Bradley's scheme. I liked this also:

J.P. Shadrick @jpshadrick

Roy Miller just said that D-line coach Todd Wash is "crazy." Part of reason he signed with @jaguars

Forsett said that him and MJD has trained together in California for the past 6 years. I think thats a plus. They should be a good duo.
