Mavericks was missing, so I opted for the landing
Jags season ticket holder.

Shanty, Phoenix, and Burro are basically the same thing. I like them all but it would be nice if they were a little different from one another. Alcohol would be a major improvement as would cleaning the bathrooms. It seems as if the owners are more interested in other things, I'd be curious if they ever bartend in their own bars.

There are some pretty substantial misses here. Jackrabbits is pretty conspicuous by its absence, considering there are 3 places in St. Augustine. And a lot of those venues are so different they really can't be compared. All things considered, though, Underbelly is the best for my money.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Sorry I forgot Mavericks and Jack Rabbits  :-[

But Jack Rabbits has really fallen off lately IMO

I remember seeing big touring acts there back in the day i.e. Manchester Orchestra, Kevin Devine, Steel Train, Every Time I Die  Now they don't even have an ad in the Folio

Well the similarity is because Ian Ranne is a co-owner in all three I do believe. He was proprietor of Lomax Lodge as well.

Correct on all points lastdays. And yes, Ian takes his turns behind the bars as well as some of the co owners at Burro. I personally have never had a problem with their bathrooms. Never have found them dirty although you could take it like that as they are all generally covered in graffiti and band stickers. ;D
Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

Jack Rabbits has a number of good shows coming up in the next month, depending on ones' taste. There's the xx for the grown ups and G Love for their little sisters and brothers.

You also left off 1904, which has had some good local shows.

The xx are playing Florida Theater not JackRabbits in early February.

I was told Jack Rabbits, but didn't check on it. Florida Theater would make more sense.
