Gay Wedding Fatigue

I heard a comment about "Gay Wedding Fatigue" on the radio, a term I had never heard of before. There was some commentary about how many people are kind of getting tired of the gay marriage debate and its more like a "get it over with already" posture, because some were tired of hearing about it constantly.

Then I found this NY Times column from July speaking to the same terms, but in a different light. Fatigue means, people, friends, relatives are worn out from all of the invites from their LGBT friends lining up to get married. Apparently there is a gay wedding boom in progress. But its causing gay wedding fatigue for the rest.

With all of the large amount of press on the subject of gay weddings, are people starting to wear out?

If your biggest problem is having too many friend falling in love and wanting you to share their special day with them, you need a new definition of "problem".
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

I hate all weddings, I don't care if they're gay, straight, whatever, it's 5 or 6 hours of pure torture.
