My point is they both are on crappy teams yet I can still tell that Cam is a better bigger, faster, stronger QB than Blaine...

Either way, I fixed it.

The skills that Cam possesses don't necessarily make him a better QB.  If they did, then Tebow would be the league MVP.

So now that this game is a wrap.... Here's to hoping the Jaguars come to play next week. I really hope Tebow doesn't play, but if he does, I hope he stinks it up. It seems the Jets have benched Sanchez this week and McElroy is playing.

Our defense cant stop a runny nose.

Did Jim Kelly come out of retirement yesterday against the Jags? Like always, our 'pass rush' is nonexistent, even with the signing of Jason Babin. Overall 1st round pick, here we come!

Khan has to blow it up. Fire Gene, fire Mularkey, fire the scouting department. This team is grotesquely overmatched in almost every game. We need a new attitude and a new philosophy. After the game some of us were talking about what guys are guaranteed to be back next year. These were the only names we could come up with:

Cecil Shorts, Justin Blackmon, Eugene Monroe, Andre Branch, Paul Poz, Josh Scobee, Bryan Anger.

That is it. Now there are some guys like Lewis, Nwaneri, Brewster, Mincey, Landry and Lowery that are likely to be back but it depends on who the next GM and coach are.

With the KC win yesterday, we are again tied for the worst record in the league.

this is certaintly a tough year and one that has tested my patience. I do agree that Shad Khan has to do some major rework on the organization during the off-season.

Once I seen it was raining, I knew the game was going to be a diaster. It boiled down to who could run the ball better, and Buffalo did. The defense definately blew this. The weather was not ideal for either offense, with the wind and balls slipping through receiver's hands. ( that was an issue with both team.) The defense did not even keep the game managable. And all these injuries have made this season even more hard. Even if we clean house in the off season, its still going to be a long process. You cant build a 53 man roster in one off season. So this therory about "blowing it all up" Doesnt make sense. No team has EVER dumped the entire team and kept 10 players in one off season. So we need to face that, alot of these gusy are going to be around until the get weeded out. And honestly, alot of our players are decent, just not consistant enough to be starters. So at the most, when we draft someone playing better than them, then just bump them down the depth chart. I think that would be the start of actually having some depth. For example, Pot Roast is by no means terrible, CJ just has been out playing him. Same goes for Britton, and that's fine by me. We need some depth for sure. I know everyone will disagree with and tell me Im crazy, but whatever Im used to it so I could less. But a complete blow out in the coaching and scouting staff is in order. Nothing against anyone, just to start fresh from the ground up.

The team has alot of free agents that have either seen (or are seeing) signifigant playing time.

FB Greg Jones
OL Eben Britton
C Brad Meester
RB Rashad Jennings
RB Jalen Parmele
TE Zach Potter
LB Daryl Smith
CB Derek Cox
CB William Middleton
DE John Chick
DE George Selvie
DT Terrance Knighton
LB Kyle Bosworth
CB Rashean Mathis

Out of that list, how many would be back with a new GM on board? Not many. Cox would be a must-sign normally but he can't stay healthy. Mathis, Meester, Smith and Jones were once key cogs for this franchise but are nearing the end of their career. The rest are mediocre.

comncense

I'd bring Jones back, but at lesser money.
Britton... offer him a low salary.
Meester I would look at replacing.
Jennings... nope.
Parmele I don't see coming back.
Potter... meh.
D. Smith, good player but he's been hurt all year. Hard to offer him a big salary.
D. Cox, he's fragile.
Middleton I'd take back with a minimum salary.
John Chick I'd bring back as a backup.
Selvie, can't say I'm too familiar with what he has done.
Pot Roast, I'd offer him a contract but not the huge payday he's looking for.
Bosworth... hell no. None of the dudes playing LB right now outside of Poz should be back.
Rashean, sadly he has to go too.

We really need 2 starting corners, a MLB and OLB, a dominate DE and O-Linemen. I'd even take a QB in the mid to late rounds also. I wonder where Johnny Football will end up getting drafted....

Honestly, I think Mathis is one of the most overrated players we've ever had. For years we've been told how great he is. He was decent in 06/07 (like everyone else), but over the past 5 or so years I've seen him play horribly more than I've seen him play well.

Johnny Football is only a redshirt freshman.  He can't go to the NFL for at least another year.  More likely to go pro in 2015 in my opinion.

comncense

^ Ahh ok, I didn't realize he was only a freshman. Hopefully we won't be thinking about QB's in 2015 though

He was one of the best cover corners in the league from 04-07. He was more than decent. He was even first team All-Pro one year. That is a pretty signifigant honor from a player in Jacksonvillle.

MEGATRON

FB Greg Jones (we have suitable replacement on roster)
OL Eben Britton (let go)
C Brad Meester (likely to retire)
RB Rashad Jennings (only at minimum)
RB Jalen Parmele (only at minimum)
TE Zach Potter (doesn't matter)
LB Daryl Smith (re-sign if healthy)
CB Derek Cox (if price is right, good player when healthy which is only 37% of time)
CB William Middleton (I guess)
DE John Chick (at right salary)
DE George Selvie (doesn't matter)
DT Terrance Knighton (only at right salary - has been awful this year)
LB Kyle Bosworth (doesn't matter)
CB Rashean Mathis (need to replace)
