So, this weekend is a one of the biggest of the year in Springfield.

The 26th annual Holiday Home Tour is Friday & Saturday (Nov 30th & Dec 1st), 5-9pm. Cool houses with cooler people, and great history. This year, something totally new will be rolled out - a unique & interactive experience if you bring your tablet or smart phone. I've seen a preview, it's pretty slick. Walkable, bikeable, or drivable, tickets are $10 now online & $12 day of at the door. Order ~ www.springfieldhometour.org

Also, the same nights, the SPR luminaria aka 'Light Nights' will be held.

Also x 2, Klutho Park will be lit up with about 30k of lights. Including a very tall, live Christmas tree.

Also x 3, Wells Fargo (6th & Main) is holding an open house for thier new renovated community center, with refreshments, at the same time. If you haven't visited yet, it's a very nice venue with some great local history on it's walls. It's def worth a peak.

Enjoy.   ;)

And least I forget, $4 Sweet Pete's bucks for the first 75 people. Everyone likes a good sweet now and again.

Does anyone know if children have to buy tickets?

Under 5 get in free.

Fyi, the newest issue of Jacksonville Magazine features a 4 page spread about the Tour and a new SPR couple. Page 76. Last night of the Holiday Tour, incidentally.
