Cannot WAIT to see the Celtics ruin Miami's celebration tonight.

REALLY liking this year's Celtics squad.

I predict your dream will turn into a nightmare when Shuttlesworth starts draining threes.  Expect the Heat to make it rain tonight.

Paul Pierce is overdue for his body to start giving out on him again. Tonight's the night?

Also, new thread?

I was impressed with Boston's offense tonight, but the defense will definitely need some work, especially if Doc wants to continue playing so small.

DEEPLY saddened me to see Ray Allen light up the Celtics tonight too :(

Love Dwayne Wade calling Rondo's late flagrant a "punk play," whining about getting clotheslined, and saying that Rondo's lucky that Wade's kids were in the stand or else he might have done something.

Here's the foul:

Looks a little familiar, doesn't it:

Good game.  Love Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis coming off the bench.  Boston definitely has some scorers now.  Barbosa has always been impressive and I think Lee is underrated.  Their defense will get better as they get more familiar with each other.

LOL! People actually sit around and identify sports team's players by the color of their skin still?  What is this? 1963?

I wonder why the Utah Jazz haven't employed similar tactics to get more Mormons on the team?

I guess Ron Edwards didn't watch this movie 20 years ago:

There are a lot of things this civil rights activist should be advocating for but more black guys on a random NBA team isn't one of them.

I love how the article conveniently leaves out the fact that Minnesota's most popular (and successful) Timberwolves team of all time was predominantly black. Kevin Garnett was literally chasing members of the Kings onto their team bus trying to fight them. Michael Olowokandi, the team's starting center, was Nigerian. Latrell Sprewell was fresh off of being forced out of Portland after attempting to choke out of his head coach. Sam Cassell was one of the most beloved members of the team. Not exactly a clean cut bunch of guys. The white fan base that the writer claims that the Wolves are catering to certainly didn't sell out of the building for years during the Garnett run because they desperately wanted to see Wally Szczerbiak play.

Also, JAMES FREAKIN HARDEN.

What a game last night.

Houston should be a lot of fun to watch this year.

Also, thanks NBA!

Third night of the season -- ONE GAME ON THE SCHEDULE!

In general, the activist quoted within the article displays a gross ignorance of the sport if all he can do is look at the Timberwolves and ask "WHERE ARE THE BLACK GUYS?" This team was probably never on his radar prior to now.

James Harden AGAIN.

Miserable loss for the Celtics at home against the Bucks.

You had to figure New York would have an incredible game against Miami tonight.

Really fun Jazz/Hornets game, even though it sucks to see Davis go down.

Also, not sure if anyone else watches the show, but I just loved the Around the Horn 10th Anniversary show today. Was really great to see Kellerman back, along with Disembodied Voice. I mainly listen to the podcast rather than watch these days, but I've got so many great memories of watching ATH. Was cool to see so many old faces back.
