Annnnnnnd the Celtics are tanking :/

We won't see the playoffs again for at least three years.

Brooklyn is gonna be scary good next season if Pierce and KG have anything left in the tank.

Also, Anthony Bennett at #1???

Rough week for Boston. Look on the bright side. There's still room to hop on the Heat's bandwagon.

Nice move by Brooklyn. I'm looking forward to seeing how Miami, Indiana, Chicago and New York responds.

TOO SOON!

In all seriousness, I can't complain. The Celtics had a hell of a run over the last five years, especially when you consider how awful things looked in 2007. Second worst team in the league, one of the worst records in franchise history, and the team had obviously tanked intentionally down the stretch in order to get one of the top two picks in the Kevin Durant/Greg Oden draft sweepstakes. Instead, Boston got screwed by the ping pong balls and slipped all the way down to number five. To turn one of the biggest disappointments in franchise history into such a positive by swapping the number five pick for Ray Allen, picking up KG for picks and a few rotation players (with a little help from Kevin McHale), and winning the championship that year. You can't ask for much more than that.

Sad to see Pierce go, but I'm happy to see him and KG getting one more crack at a title.
