^^^I never expect the national sports media to give any credit to Jax. Can you imagine if one of their media sweethearts like Luck, RG3, Newton etc would've made a pass like that? It would be on every highlight this week. I must admit, the NFL Network surprisingly did give Gabbert props for the pass and catch by Shorts.

And he had a spot on NFL AM. But you know Gabbert would have had to have a 300 yard day, four 80 yard passing touchdowns, and three rushing touchdowns for anyone to give him any credit.  LOL Like the 74 yard pass he droppped on the Bengals last year. No one said anything about it. Speaking of which, per mularkey would should have our offensive lineman back this week. Britton and Bradenfield seem to be good to go. The Bengals defense is terrible. This is game where our offensive needs to get cooking like we were in Minnesota. We also need to put the Bengals away like we SHOULD have last year. (that game pisses me off everytime I think about it.

The thing that I love the most is Gabbert's confidence. I read in the paper he told them in the huddle, " Were about to fucking score right here, Lets go!" And for them to go out and  it shows me alot about how much command Gabbert has over the offense. I think that will stick out in my head every time they play.

Just checked out the Bengals injury report and their secondary is all banged up. The are also terrible against the run.  However, for the first time all season, we are almost completely healthy. Darryl Smith and George Sleeve are the only two that have not participated in practice. Our entire O-line has been practicing. Britton was the only one limited in practice. We havent been the best against the run either, but weve improved. And PLUS we have a MJD on our team and they dont. This is my game plan. Let MJD run it down their damn throats and get Gabbert get in the shot gun and air it out. The new coaching staff seems to be parinoid. The training wheels have to come off. Gabbert was only in the shotgun in college and thats where he most comfortable. We need to use that to our advantage. Ive noticed when Gabbys in the shout gun he makes pretty good passes.

One obvious comparison is the praise heaped upon Tebow for his pass to Demaryius Thomas in last year's Steelers game.  It was a simlar route and similar play length.
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!

Very true.  All it took was sub-4.4  speed and a devastating stiff-arm to validate Tebow as a real QB...   ::)

That and the indisposition of both of the Steelers' safeties.

Sweet....

From the Times Union:

Starting with the Week 5 home game against Chicago, the Jaguars will begin wearing black jerseys for home games. They haven’t worn black jerseys since the 2009 season.

Owner Shad Khan said in a statement: “After this Sunday’s game, we will wear black as our primary jersey and teal will be reserved for special occasions as our alternate jersey. Teal will continue to be a part of our uniform and our logo, but on the field, our identity will grow in black jerseys.”

I heard over the radio even though Laurent Robinson passed the concussion test, he will not be available for the Bengals game, because of precautionary reasons. Can anyone confirm that?

Nah just busy, special game SUNDAY!

quick observation.. Watching the ATL noticed and Matt Ryan does check downs quite often. SO far they have only had a few deep passes. Makes me thing, why are we riding Gabbert about check downs?
