Best places to get work done?

I'm in Jacksonville for two weeks. Looking for a place to get work done as the wifi at my parents house is too slow. I was thinking of going to a few coffee shops and libraries (however my luck with wifi at some of the libraries in the past had been laughable at best). Can't do UNF (too far). Is there any place that has fast wifi, good coffee and bagels, and wouldn't mind me working for a few hours?

Four recommendations:

1) Bold Bean Coffee Roasters on Stockton Street. Plays music and there's a good crowd, but not so busy/loud you can't study/work. I've posted up there for 4-5 hours with no problems. They don't have bagels, but they do have peach pies, banana bread, muffins, sandwiches, etc.

2) Downtown Jax Public Library. On Laura St. Huge building, tons of space, quiet corners, computer access, etc.

3) Chamblin's Uptown (which is actually downtown). One block away from the public library. Bagels, food, soups, salads, wraps, coffee (from Bold Bean, Sweetwater, and Green Mountain).

4) Three Layers on Walnut. Really chill, food options, good coffee, both indoor and outdoor seating.

*All listed have great WiFi.

**Not sure who is/isn't open on Labor Day (I know Bold Bean is, I just left there).

Bold Bean Coffee has smoking wifi.

Chamblins Uptown Cafe as well.

The Starbucks in San Marco is decent.

Also the  San Marco Library has superfast wifi.

What part of town are you on?

Thanks for the tips. I have been to Bold Bean before and loved both the service and atmosphere. I am in the Riverside area but I haven't been here since December 2011 and I don't keep up with changes in Jacksonville as much as I would like to. Thanks again.

Bold Bean everytime, I can pay three bucks for a fantastic cup of coffee and sit around for two hours without getting kicked out. Actually they don't kick me out til ten or fifteen minutes after they close.

Starbucks in San Marco is pretty good if you prefer a terrible cup of coffee with your wifi.

I'm surprised no one mentioned coworkjax.  It's downtown in a lovely place.  It's a great work atmosphere and even though you have to pay to do work there, if you're really serious about some office space I'd recommend it wholeheartedly www.coworkjax.com
