Makes me a bit sick to see that a fundraiser is drawn down to this level of striptease.  What say you?

The sick part is that the firefighters need to fundraise in the first place. Firefighters should be 'taken care of' financially....

On the other hand, the pictures make it seem like the fighters are having fun. Good for them

Ditto. Who the hell cares? This is the kind of thing we get worked up about?
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Looks like the made off with some extra cash. Good for them.

I think the problem was that they were wearing (or not) official JFRD gear - a violation of the rules.  Guessing they would not be in so much trouble had they worn civilian clothes.

Is that why their faces are blurred out?

As I read the story the issue was not the fund raiser itself (which I have no issue with) but that they were wearing their gear.. and in this day of social media the pictures taken from that evening got posted for public viewing..
I agree that it was sad that the fund raiser was deemed necessary and unfortunate that these fire fighters did not realize that having their gear on would have such ramifications...
