MelMel i hope your enthusiasm for jacksonvilles fashion scene continues, its nice to see. Wish we had more of it, Hopefully it will spread.
If we keep putting out the sparks that start fires how do we expect anything good to come to jacksonville.

Thanks, JaxJag, I appreciate your encouragement. :)

But then again, I'm just a 20 year old college underclassman (not really though, I'm 23 year old college senior who has been seriously studying fashion journalism over the last few years), so what do I know.

Wow, UNF really has changed in the years since I graduated. Who would've known they'd finally have a fashion journalism programme? I guess Jacksonville really is changing (and maybe it is on its way to being the next big fashion city in Florida).

MelMel

I appreciate your sarcasm too, Adam W, but although over your past 28 years in Jacksonville you seem to have become very knowledgeable about everything here, I'm almost positive you never pursued a journalism degree from UNF, so you wouldn't know about the classes available for different interests in journalism, or anything at all that goes in to them for that matter.  No, there's no specific "fashion journalism 101" class, but I have studied plenty of areas that have prepared me specifically for that type of journalism.

On a side note, I think I've found my answer on what comes easier for you, regurgitating your cynical views onto others, or simply ignoring a "20-year-old underclassman." I'm just going to let you have the last word on this one, since that conclusion is so depressing.  Try to have a great day!

Mel, just appreciate the humor in a middle aged corporate guy in a different country lecturing a local college woman about local fashion.

And keep up the good work.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?
