I wanted to let everyone know about a plethora of cool events going on in SPR this Saturday (6/23/12).



Midsummer Eve Spirit Gathering

2pm-2am, @ Karpeles Museum (1st & Laura Street).

Sort of big hippie music, arts, and dancing festival. Free.






Main Street Classic Car Cruise

6pm-10pm on Main Street (1st-12th).

Tons of classic cars of all types will be crusing up & down Main Street between 1st & 12th. Outdoor movie "American Grafetti" showing at 4th & Main, along with live rockabilly music by the 77d's. Lots of food options too. Free.

Old Springfield Haunted House Tour

7pm-10pm @ 1712 Pearl Street (RSVP required).

A guided wine & cheese tour of a haunted house, with Chuck Bergman (a nationally known medium) in attendance. $12 per person, with proceeds going to American Cancer Society.





Along with The Pearl, Three Layers, and Shanty Town - make it a night in SPR.

The Haunted House event is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. So if you are into hoodoo jabberwocky, help raise some dollars to fight cancer while you are at it.
