The Jacksonville Young Democrats are hosting a Downtown Revitalization Forum tonight with special guests Tony Allegretti (JAX Chamber Director of Downtown Engagement; Artwalk; Riverside Arts Market), Wiatt Bowers and Mike Field (TransForm Jax, Jax Truckies), and Amy Harrell (Downtown Vision).

I hope a good accounting of the forum will be placed on MJ. It will be interesting to see if anything new or profound is accomplished at the meeting.

Great idea Ron. I'll be attending the forum and will put together a summary of key points for MJ. Will be interesting to hear about Allegretti's ideas with the Chamber and where Downtown Vision is with things. Not to mention those smart guys from TransForm Jax.

Was a very good turnout and discussion. The JYD's took notes and are going to be posting them shortly. Next week I believe. I wasn't taking notes and was in a few conversations, so I couldn't do the meeting any justice. Perhaps Mike or Wiatt can post some of what was discussed in the panel.
