Kim Daniels just asked if sexual orientation extends to animals.

And just said in Egypt it's legal to sleep with dead people.

Oh my goodness.

I stand corrected. Councilwoman E. Dennis Lee was not the one to watch out for. Kim Daniels has evoked many moments of public outburst from the audience with her ridiculous comments. Stephen Joost has told the audience several times to calm down but has yet to reprimand Kim Daniels in the same way.

To Clarify:Dead animals and the heathens who love them will notbe welcome at Kimberly Daniels annual Christmas Party.

not a psychiatrist myself, but I think she quotes the DSM wrong. DSM now speaks of "Sexual Orientation Disturbance", which excludes gay/lesbian as a disorder (older versions did). Someone most have fed her a sound bite.

has anybody spoken against the bill who is not a "pastor" of some kind?

AshleyLauren

Speaker: " So many people do not even realize this is happening."
--Do most people really ever know what is going on? Isn't that half the problem. So many people are still narrow-minded and unwilling to consider different and varying opinions. Many have no insight or idea of the politics taking place in Jacksonville.  This bill is about rights, but if used correctly it could also be used to educate citizens about the unconstitutional discrimination many of Jacksonville's citizens endure each day.

Discrimination is driving young people out of Jacksonville? This further proves that Jacksonville is only hurting itself

To be fair city councilmen/women are coming and going. Lee is back joost is gone. Tag team. No has spoken against the bill except the first few people. The current speaker kinda threatens...I know powerful people and they care about this bill. Another speaker, " we have a lot of discrimination in Jacksonville. I'm a democrat and I'm discriminated against. There is a brain drain I this city. Our talent does not feel comfortable here...pass this bill so the rest of the country does not think we are a close minded city,"

Thus far, no. I lost track of how many speakers have taken the stand. Speaker 3 came in place of a group of pastors opposed to the bill. I.e, Trinity Baptist, Evangel Temple, NorthJax, Westside, First Baptist, etc. But those pastors did not take the time to come speak for themselves. And no other speaker has opposed the bill yet.

I caught one of the speakers in the hall while looking for the bathroom and complimented her on speaking up. She stated she was nervous and would have felt more comfortable talking to kindergarteners.

"That shouldn't be a problem considering some of the council members have the maturity levels of kindergarteners," I replied.

I need to find her address for her office so that I can send her a Tin-foil hat tomorrow. She's that far gone.

Kim Daniels just asked if the bill would, in effect, void all birth certificates.

Goodness.
