First, the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine - now this @ UNF (looks prettly cool).  I've also heard some noise out of Palatka specific to Ravine State Gardens (that would take the cake).

NEW ROPES COURSE AND ZIPLINE NEAR ST. JOHNS TOWN CENTER
QuoteJacksonville, Florida, will have its first High Adventure Ropes Course by the end of March.  The course is  located at the University of North Florida(UNF) Wildlife Sanctuary within a quarter mile of St. Johns Town Center shopping district.  Building high adventure courses is a new trend on college campuses.
The ropes course will feature the State’s longest zipline,  which will cross the lake and drop off on the island in the middle of the wildlife sanctuary.  UNF students and surrounding businesses eagerly await its opening.  The UNF Department of Campus Recreation staffers traveled to Florida Gulf Coast University (GCU) in Fort Myers, Florida, for training since GCU completed a similar ropes course in 2011.  Both schools contracted with Alpine Towers  International (ATI), which specializes in the design  and building of the world’s finest recreational adventure challenge courses.

This is a new trend.  Wakullah Springs has plans for a huge complex that includes a zipline over alligators and wildlife.  I guess it's a non-invasive way to enjoy nature...  They have been talking about putting this in for over a decade.  I'm glad it is finally getting built.
