With our O-line, Manning would get sacked on every drive.

Quick, without Wiki or Google, name 1 other lineman for the Colts not names Jeff Saturday.......  waiting........   waiting.......  Times UP!

C'mon man.  Peyton makes a lot of things look better than they really are.  You know why he doesn't get sacked?  Because when he reads blitz, he calls a slant or a run at the line of scrimmage or he sends some telepathic message to either Wayne or Dallas Clark.  He was/is one of, if not THE, best ever QBs to play the game.  Honestly, I think he still wouldn't get sacked if it were just a center and 2 guards because he would have the ball out before anyone got close.

Blaine didn't have the options or the experience to check out, so he payed the price.  The Great Wall of China wouldn't have protected Blaine for a lot of the plays.

Let me alone NRW! I am meditating right now  ::) anyways,  Blaine did cause alot of his own sacks. I will admit to that one. But I still feel like until we fix ALOT of problems with our offense line, no QB will be successful here. Also, Among my friends I call the Jaguars organizations " Quarterback Killers."

You're totally right.  Maybe if we could just coach up Britton so he wouldn't get hurt so much.  Hop in our time machine and coach up Rackley and Whimper so that they could play at a higher level.  While we're at it, since, you know, we don't have a veteran QB, maybe we could beef the line up so that if nothing else happens we can at least run the ball really well........  OH YEAH!  I think we did have the NFL's leading rusher, didn't we?   ;)

Do you see where I'm going with this, a 3rd and 4th round pick not playing at a pro-bowl level.  A second round pick that has been hurt nearly his entire career, a top 10 LT and a top 10 C & G (per profootballfocus.com).....

Go back to your meditation.   ;D

Sticking to reality---here is what I would be very happy with on Tuesday(being reasonable)

Big Splash: Mario Williams (I know it is monster coin but I am just pretending we are re-doing Derrick Harvey a little early to reward his incredible performance)

Receivers: 2 of (meechum/garcon/robinson)

I'm okay with that. The last reciever that you mentioned (Laurent Robinson) I'm not gonna lie, I didn't know much about him and there's not much talk about him concerning free agency (atleast from a Jax media perspective); He had a pretty damn good season with the Cowboys, good darkhorse pick. Most people feel that Vincent Jackson from SD is the best WR left in free agency, but he's gonna command alotta coin, and be hard as hell to get.

I was talking to a female associate of mine that works for Everbank. She was asking if I had season tickets because they get a huge discount and she would purchase them for me. I told that I already renewed, but asked why she does not have any. She stated she wont by season tickets because we suck right now. I explained to her this... going into the football season you have NO idea how it is going to turn out. We all thought we were going to be back in the playoffs in 2008 and it was the COMPLETE opposite. The NFL is very unpredictable i.e, Eli Manning and the 9-7 Giants winning the SB. You cant really pick and choose what season you are going to buy tickets, but you have no idea hows its going to end up. I buy tickets every year now because I love the unknown and that the NFL is unpredictable. Im gonna keep talk to her about it. Everbank gets a HUGE discount so she has no excuse. LOL!!

You can add other names to the WR list. Josh Morgan, Harry Douglas, Eddie Royal, Early Doucet.

Here we go.. Now its being said that if Manning chooses Denver, the Broncos may trade Tebow and Jacksonville "may be in the mix."? Im sorry, but too have two QBs with the worse passer rating in the NFL would not benefit us on any level.

The rumors are that Manning is favoring ARI & DEN, I'm shocked that MIA isn't rumored to seriously be in the mix. God, I hope that ARI gets Manning because I know that Gene Smith has a level head, but our new unpredictable owner (who already mentioned interest in Tebow) might force Gene's hand and freakin' bring Tebow-Mania here; What a disaster that would be! Talk about setting a franchise back a decade!!! Please Manning, go to ARI, MIA or anywhere besides the Broncos!

Three-quarters of those guys aren't needed here; We already have a guy with one TD on the year (Mike Thomas). I'll give you Early.

Heres the 2011 stats of some of the notable WRs in free-agency (team, player, receptions, yards, touchdowns)

SD Vincent Jackson 60recs/1106yds/9 TDs
NO Marques Colston 80recs/1143yds/8 TDs
PIT Mike Wallace 72recs/1193yds/ 8 TDs & giving up your 1st round pick, f*@k no!!!!
IND Pierre Garcon 70recs/947yds/6 TDs
DAL Laurent Robinson 54recs/858yds/11 TDs
NO Robert Meachem 40recs/620yds/6 TDs
ARI Early Doucet 54recs/689yds/5 TDs
NYG Mario Manningham 39recs/523yds/4 TDs

If Manning goes to Denver, I'm switching from Dolphin radio to 930 the Fox just to hear Tebow mania take over this city, lol!

Man - I'm getting antsy - so ready for free agengy to start already!  NFL.com calls Shahid Khan "gloriously outspoken" - love it.

QuoteKhan seems intent on changing the culture, not just of the Jaguars, but the city itself. He said Jacksonville is like "a beautiful woman who doesn't know how beautiful she is."
Will somebody get Jacksonville a prom date, please?

Josh Morgan was actually on pace for a pretty solid season in SF before injuring his leg. And from what I have read, he is fully recovered from the injury and has a good relationship with our new WR coach.

I dont know if it would set us back for a decade, but it sure wouldnt help. And I think real Jags fan would become a little irritated because of it. We are just sick of our QB issue. Weve been going through this for almost 10 years now. We cant afford to keep the merry go round moving, unless we absolutely have to. Paul on ESPN made the same comment I did earlier. It would not make sense for us to take Tebow. What would we do with two rebuilding projects? In our sitation, the best thing to us, bring in a good, experienced veteran to help Gabbert and also serve as a back up, and get some WR's in free agency. If us getting Tebow would guarentee that we would win, I would be down for it 100%. But he is a gamble. I dont care about "exposure" from the media. If we are not winning, us getting attention from the media really means nothing, Tebow or no Tebow.

Quoteand get some WR's in free agency.

No, No, No! We have tried this with Smith, he brings in retards from other teams, who was the guy with concrete hands from the Vikings, he was wickedly fast, but had concrete blocks for hands. We just finished overpaying for our Tight End who suddenly cannot catch the most simple and basic Touchdown passes.

Save your money and know that winning solves all our problems. We don't need Tebow. We whiffed at that, and let's get Blackmon and pay for him, he's fast, great hands and has the prowess to be the next Jimmy Smith at that position, a guy who will be with the team for 5-10 years. We need a go to guy for Gabbert. It's not fair for Blaine to have to throw the ball to blockheads who cannot catch the ball. The only one who seems to have a sense of BG is MJD and he still has to run the ball to setup the pass.

No more experimental WRs in free agency. We can experiment with DBs and DEs during free agency, and whiff, because we have others behind the whiffs, but no more whiffing on our future.

Which would you prefer. Experimental WR's in Free Ageny, or draft an experimental rookie? Either way you look at it, we wont how they play....until they play here. The problem with our core now is that they are all rookies with 2 years experience at best. And most of them havent even played a full season anywhere. Getting two experienced WR's in free agency to compliment the young core we have is just what we need.

Smith has bombed in this department, I see him faring no better with your system. I say use the money for the rookie and give Gabbert someone who will be around for many years who can be a difference maker. Get the guy who is the Calvin Johnson of this year's draft and give your former 10th pick someone to throw to for now and the future.
