off the formal track

So, it seems, that a house can be removed from the formal track.  It was done in 2009.



starting on line 15 of page 59



All one needs to do as a commission is to:

1.) motion to reconsider
2.) second and vote to reconsider
3.) motion to remove from the formal track
4.) second and a vote to remove from the formal track

I feel a bit like Dorothy...we had the power to do this all along?

Ironically, these are not pulled off the formal track because they are Nationally Recognized Historic properties, or valuable to the community, or because the commissioners are charged with protecting the historic fabric of this city...

it is pulled off of the formal track so that the homeowners can pull a COA for demolition which is cheaper than having the city do it...

Seriously.. is there not something more important these people could be doing ,instead of targeting structures for "formal tracking" ..
