I beleive Sweet Lady Blue is already open

and sounds like the 7-Eleven is the one we've been talking about for the BB&T building....glad its not in the concourse.

I can guarantee I will patronize everyone. You can never go wrong with a cupcake and Slurpee.

Thanks for sharing this good news.  I can't wait to visit all of these businesses next time I am in town.

What other businesses are in the concourse at the BB&T building?  I was thoroughly unaware of the concourse until the discussion in the 7 Eleven thread.

Would the 3 new bars be considered in the "district"?  What's the proximity to the others on Bay Street and/or Dos Gatos, etc.?

Aside from the 1904 place, aren't the other bars on the other end of Downtown? They took the spaces of Sinclair and Cafe 331 right?

the one is right next to Lit on Ocean Street...so yes

the other two are on the west side of downtown (at least 1/2 mile from bay Street bars) near the Phoenix...so those 3 bars can start another district

This is very good news if all these things pan out. As far as the bars go this could be the most amount of venues open at the same time that Downtown has seen in a long while.

I noticed a couple of additional new businesses on Adams Street last night, next to the old Chew location.  One appeared to be a clothing shop (and may be more of a "pop-up" type business - it was open for art walk but not yesterday afternoon) and the other looked like a bar - I didn't see any signage.

Are you talking about to the left of Chew?  I saw some activity there a few months ago but the inside looked kind of hokey.
