Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Sweet! I was hoping a chain restaurant would open at the shopping mall...

I actually really like Brio.

Kinda good from my point of view.

While I know there will be several jabs at this chain restaurant coming to an already busy area of town, let us not forget that these are JOBS that are coming to town.  Who cares what it is or where it is as long as companies like this have enough faith in our community to bring their businesses here....

Having said that, Brio is OK...  I'm not a huge fan of their food...lol

Happy to see them come to Jax!

never been to one, i do remember there being one in Buckhead in Atlanta. Another chain restaurant at the SJTC, good for them.

They all seem to be doing pretty well. Parking lot is always full at Mimi's, Season's 52, Wasabi, Whisky River, BJ's Brewhouse. All of those places.

Never heard of it.  Is the owner's name Brio......? ;)

Interesting enough, according to their menu, a Margherita flatbread costs a bit over $13

It's somewhere between Olive Garden and Maggiano's... I like it, there is one at Millenia in Orlando.  I'm always happy to see a large chain come to Jax.  Another vote of confidence.

I first discovered Brio Tuscan Grill in Winter Park! It's not near the train station but at the mini town center called "Winter Park Village" near the Regal movie~plex. It felt pretty swanky to me, more than 10 years ago! They were almost always packed then too! I guess there's just something about Italian food and wine that's appealing!

Being Italian, we call that "the 5 rung of Dante's inferno"... ;)

How come people complain about certain chains (like this) and go crazy for season 52???

I almost wonder if there's a condo-like "bubble" growing regarding restaurants at SJTC.  How many similarly priced 300+ seat restaurants can that one part of town sustain?  Is the demand there?  Were we really hurting for dining options before SJTC?  Not in my mind.  And yet SJTC has created thousands upon thousands of available restaurant seats...
