So what do you guys think are the Jags main personnel needs? I still think they are:

1. WR(s)
2. DE
3. CB
4. Center

As far as the coaches that we are supposedly interviewing, Murlarkey and Gene are supposedly buddies and Mike's son is currently a scout for the Jags. I like the idea of the Panthers' OC. Cam has obviously had a good year under that system. The Jets OC... I probably dislike that choice the worst out of the 3. The Jets' offense suck and they probably had better personnel on offense than we had this year. Atlanta's offense ranked 10th and Carolina 7th. The Jets were ranked 25th. Of course we were ranked last...

Add Patriots OC Bill O'Brien to the list of guys the Jags have requested to interview.

The rest of the AFC south has almost the exact schedule with an exception. I think the Texans play the Broncos. So its far game next season. The AFC pretty much has identical schedule. And I love our away schedule. Very winnable games (except Green Bay hehehehe). Compared to the defense we faced this season, next season should be a cake walk for Gabby. Its his time to shine.

Miami's D may be one of the best on that schedule.  If Gabby doesn't grow up quick, that could be a tough day.  Ask Rex Ryan, who's been pretty quiet since Sunday's debacle.

^^^+1 From a Jags fan. Miami finished out the last half of their schedule pretty strong.

An then too, this is the NFL. Who would have thought I defense would have jumped from #26 to #6 in one season. So anythings possiable.

Looking at the schedule, glad we get @Oakland instead of @San Diego. Rivers has killed us the last two years.

I know right! He just caught out at a bad moment this year though. If our secondary was in the nursing home, we probably would have been able to slow him down a peg or two.  ;D

Agreed, but it would've been a different story this year had our corners been Mathis and Cox instead of Youboty and Rutland (as DuvalDude already said while I was typing)

In the 2010 game Rivers did most of his damage attacking over the middle with Gates, and we didn't have nearly as many problems covering tight ends in 2011 as in 2010 due to better S and LB personnel.  He did scald Mathis once late in the game.

@ DD I actually think next year's schedule will be just as tough especially if the offense has not improved. I may go the the Miami game.

Well that is a given. They have improve drastically to beat anyone, regardless of how good or bad the other team defense is. LOL I may go to the Miami game also. It depends on when it is and what my money is gonna look like. I may get like two or three friends to come along, that way we can split the cost  LOL.

Its always exciting when we play oakland. They are a running team and so are we. The game in 2010 was mad crazy!

Let's hope that's not exactly the case next year.  I would like to be a passing team with a strong running game to back it up.
