I like Mel Tucker and think he did a good job with the defense this year but I hope we get a complete re-do of the coaching staff. With Khan coming on board, there is some buzz around what he is going to do with this team. With the right coaching hire and signing some free agent receivers, the buzz should continue.

I don't buy into the notion that the season is "over" when there are two games left, regardless of the playoffs. Both of our last two are winnable games against our division rivals, and both are worth winning (and watching) even if we won't make the playoffs. The way I see it we can still wreck the Titans' season, and beating down Indy is worth the price of admission any year.
Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

Five track hurdles would offer more protection for a QB than the 2011 Jags O-Line; Hell, even during the many jailbreaks, the off the street WR's (mentioned in the broadcast) runs bad routes giving Blaine no chance in hell of completing a pass; I dunno if any QB would have a chance to do anything concerning the situation that Blaine was in. I know Blaine-haters, this season 'is' indicative of what Blaine will be in the future, so we should just give up on him, and draft RG3 next year, blah, blah, blah, blah. ::)

I would love to see the Tits and the Ponies both fall to the wrath of the mighty Jags as a 2011 season ender.  IMO, we will be leaving the season a winner with lots of good to look forward to.

Don't give up yet Jags!!!

I would love Mel Tucker to stay and run the defense. I dont think it would be in our best interest to get rid of someone who took a defense from the bottom to the top in one year with no off season. I would like just to see another heach coach and OC. We need some new blood on the offense. The defense is fine. We just need to draft a top pass rusher and well be good on that end.

Blaine haters? How can you hate a kid who is 21 and has gone from college to pro and had little to NO training camp and experience with the speed at the Pro level? Give him a chance, we need some decent receivers. Maybe we should throw the rest of the games to get the Ok State WR, we need a Jimmy Smith receiver to make it easier to play catch from Gabbert to the WR corps.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."

I agree. I watched some video on youtube when he was in college and they played in a TOTALLY different system. To go from a spead offense to run and play action team is a HUGE adjustment. In college, he was always in the shotgun so there were never defenders in his face. Im for one feel bad for him because he was put in a bad situation, on a bad team with Bad coach. But in the NFL, the QB will always take the heat.

Why haven't we adjusted our offense like Denver has for Tebow and Carolina has done for Cam Newton?

As far as playoffs, it is.  As far as spoiler, it is not.  As far as time to heal injuries and give the super green rookies a chance to learn and grow, it is that time.

I TOTALLY agree with both of yall BTW. The 'Blaine-haters' do exist, believe me; They're all over the airwaves in this city esp on 1010XL. M-train, on my earlier statement, I was being sarcastic, acting in the minds of the dumb 'knee jerk reaction Blaine-bashers' by saying we should get RG3 next year. Sometimes it's all in the name; 'Whimpy Guy' shouldn't be a RT in the NFL.

Is this a joke.

You know I read articles that no one will wanna come coach here... Why not? Were just as bad as ever other team that has fired their coach, and just as bad as every other team in Florida. And our QB situation and record is just as bad as Miami. Actually there situation is worse IMO.  Bottom line is money talks. And Khan seems to be willing to break some bread to get this team right.. So we shall see. Once we get our coaching staff in order and beef up our offense line, we will be fine. Its just funny how the media still acts if Jacksonville is this black hole in the NFL no one wants to sucked into.

One Word: Propaganda. Sure the fast-growing sun-shiny place with beaches, Fortune 500's & convenient location(95 & 10) is a 'black hole' that no one wants any part of. I think that alot of the J-ville hate is because alot of people didn't like the fact that Florida has three NFL teams; Everyone wanna be that 'I told you that it wouldn't work' guy. F*** em!!!Let the Nat'l media haters hate!!!
