Nice win!  It paid to start MJD in place of a hurt AP in my money FFL.  Great start for the playoffs.  If you guys don't mind, keep feeding him the rock like that for at least two more weeks and I'll end up having a great New Year.

not that I made the playoffs (missed ny tenths of a point)....but how'd your Dolphins do today?

thelakelander

They did great. No need trying to win every game while preparing next year's draft.

Great win today. I know I have been down on the Jags. Thr Bucs look terrible and we took care of business today.

Glad you guys sitting.at.home.could see the game.
Nice turn around, down by 14 usually means a lost for the Jags. Miserable day with that cold wind and rain.

This is how we were supposed to play against the Colts a few weeks ago.

Tucker is really cleaning up Del Rio's mess. DR was the sole reason this team play was so bad. Now that hes gone, the play calling is better and the team is actually playing with some Zeel.

I totally agree. I'm sold, and I think that Mel should be the coach for '12. We never blow anyone out! There's something about Tucker; He's not complacent like JDR, and not afraid to call out positions that need to step it up. It would be very wasteful to spend more money for a 'sexy named' coach, to do no better a job than Mel is doing. Like they say, that 'it' factor, Mel definitely has 'it'. Great win Jags!!!

Really great day of football for the Jags.

Gabbert was far from perfect, but he FINALLY showed some improvement after the 1st quarter. Some great passes and above all else, HE LOOKED COMFORTABLE IN THE POCKET!

It's going to take more than a single win against a ghastly Bucs defense to convince me that Tuckeris the man for 2012, but I've got an open mind and a few more wins like this would certainly shoot him way up the list.

Question: Where does the Jags training staff rank relative the rest of the league? Sure seems like injuries have been a constant issue with this franchise.

I know personally I even seen a huge change Monday night. It didnt equate to a win, but I seen the difference in the team even then. Anybody that could get Cecil shorts to catch a pass like he did on Monday is a miracle worker   ;D   I knew they were gonna have a break out game today. Mel is very sharp. I hope he contiunes doing what hes doing.

As far as the injuries, I think we just having bad luck. Honestly injuries are way up around the league. I think it is because of the lack of a off season. Ive learned that conditioning is a huge part of staying healthy in the NFL. And with no off season or true OTA's, the players have been very vonderable this season.

Also, great move by moving Dujuan Harris from the practice squad. He was a beast in preseason and he needs to be atleast our second or third running back (keep forgetting about Jennings). I am amped and ready for next season. With a healthy roster, its going to be a good year

I wonder what happened to Deji Karim this year.  I don't think it was just misuse (e.g., Del Rio running him between the tackles repeatedly).  He just doesn't look explosive at all like he did last year on kick returns and in the two games where he had an extensive opportunity to run.

I like Tucker a lot.  I think he's going to be a (non-interim) head coach for somebody in the future if he's not ours next year.  I hope whether as head coach or defensive coordinator, he remains with the Jaguar organization.
