SATURDAY EVENING AT RAM: NICE CROWD

This past Saturday was a big success for Riverside Arts Market. Beer trucks from Intuition Ale and Bold City
were there and so was a big crowd. My estimate at least 1000 people there (at 5 pm). It went well past the usual
4 pm closing time.  They should do it once a month.

Anybody else check it out??

I didn't go at night, but was there in the day (around 2pm) & it was nice. The beer trucks were both there & were busy.

I didn't know it was going on through the night or I would have came back to drink some. Are they not going to do that again?? They certainly need to!

My girl and I were there from about 4pm till about 9pm.   It was freaking awesome!!   I wish they would do it at EVERY RAM.

non-profits such as RAM are limited to no more than 2-3 alcohol related "revenue" events per year

Hmmm...

It would still be cool to have the brewers up there on a regular basis and let RAM go on into the night.   I could settle for that.  :)   Hell, I end up going home after my weekly RAM visit and drink beer at my house anyway... Why not enjoy some live music and meat on a stick while spending my money on beer under the bridge?

"Beer Under The Bridge". I think you may have just came up with the name for the separate weekly event from the RAM.

I don't think it will work...the space itself was built for and is leased to RAM.

I really liked this event.  The Bold City folks were the best as always, and they had so many people getting their beer they were running out.  First time I had heard about Brewer's Pizza and their beer.  Brewer's is on Blanding and I really liked both their beers on display (Pinglehead Red Ale and Ambitious Monk).  Thank you to RAM for giving us a great event.

Not only do we need food trucks in this city, we need beer trucks as well!!

We did dinner in Riverside and basically Bar hoped the area all night while my wife was at the Britney concert.  Should have included the RAM event.

BTW I love the vibe on King street.

King street is really awesome these days.   I wish it was more like that when I lived at the corner of King and Post.  heh... ah well.    Its only a quick bike ride down the street from me now...

Dog Walker

The whole area owes Steve and Scott and Ben and Brian a big vote of thanks for bringing life to the streets in that area.  You guys are tops!

The street scape project certainly played into the revitalization as well.
