The new Chew building should be breaking ground at Oak and Margaret (next to Mossfire) real soon.  It will be fun to watch that one go up.

What's the word on Minggle City Cafe? Where is that located exactly?

Just walked through Confederate Park. They are working on the Park View right now. They appear to be doing asbestos removal.

Oh okay as long as their making progress. Has anyone heard anything else about the proposed BP station that was going to be across the street? Is that project dead? We havent heard anything since last year

Minggle City is on Adams Street, right next door to Chew.  From the looks of it, it appears to be a bar/restaurant.

Is the design the same that was posted here earlier or have they modified it any?

Since that photo was taken, all of the windows have been pulled out of Carters Pharmacy at Park & King.

It was awesome. They were just throwing rocks through the windows and then banging the rest out with poles. I really wanted to help them.

Can we take photos inside the courthouse next time? As I understand it, they're now working on the interior exclusively.

I hear that the San Marco streetscape project is still a year and a half from completion. I don't have much money these days, But I advise everyone to try and patronise these businesses. I too will try once I have a better cashflow.

Overstreet, that's an excellent photo of the construction at Wolfson's. I especially enjoy the angle and view of DT in the upper right corner, looks like a real city. Now if we can just get Brooklyn to look like DT, baby steps I guess. Just glad to see things move forward.

For the past few months, I thought June's update would be the last, thank God it's not!

Aren't they making it a greenspace for the time being?

All they did with the shipyard is plant some trees and patch up the adjacent sidewalk.  Its going to be a green area until the city ultimately decides what to do with it.

Also, What are they putting in the roundabout at 'museum circle'?  Another statue of AJ?

Public art - kids on stilts - never seen them but apparently they have been in storage for a while and they finally decided to install

I got a peek at the statue last week before the tarp went over.... looks really cool... reminds me of Mackenzie Throrpe piece.
