Non-RedNeck Westsider

I've found a lost pit-bull terrier.  I need the owner or someone who would like to adopt a puppy to answer.  He was walking back and forth up Wilson Blvd.  I've posted signs with my phone number and have put out notices on CL and FTU.  I would keep this little guy, but I have a house full of 2 wiemies already.  If he's yours please leave a description of him.  If you'd like to adopt him, please call me and set up an interview.

He has until the end of the week before I find either a rescue group or give him up to the pound.  Please.  I don't want to do either.

There is a cold, dark, lonely corner of Hell waiting for people who abandon their pets.

I agree DW.  I already have one rescue Weimeraner, the other was purchased from a breeder.  I would love to keep the pit, but I would need to buy a larger home.  If you know anyone who would be interested, or if you know any good pit rescue groups, please let me know.  I hate to say it, but he's on the clock.

Understand why you can't keep him.  I'm fully stocked with cats and dogs myself.  Good luck!

Cute puppy, but then aren't they all.

No, mine's the cutest!  ;D  :-*

Yeah but the black one's not mine.

This is mine.....  (think this almost deserves it's own thread)

Beautiful dog, I love weimaraners! They're big happy goofs usually...

This thread should be renamed to "Whose dog is the best?" because it is now a bragging match going on in here.

I hope the lost dog can be found by the owner.

He's the big, happy goof that you're thinking of.

My wife has a female that's a little more neurotic & hyper.

You need some help for the pooch and I suggest that many good vets keep records of dog rescue groups in town. Suggest you call your vet and ask if they know of pit bull rescue groups.
Animal Shelter is now a very differently run place and they will do a good job of finding a home for that pup.

We can close the thread.  His owner called last night and the puppy is home safely.

For those of you concerned about it possibly being a random caller, the signs read, "Found Your Puppy, Original Equipment, Blue Collar", the guy described him to a tee.  His name was Smitty (the puppy, not the guy.)

Seriously the best news I've heard all morning.

Nice work.

Agreed.  Thank you for giving the lost dog a temporary home, I am sure the owner was estatic.
