Hey, thanks for asking.

Me and a couple of my friends picked up a preservation award for Miss Maggie's "Make It Happen".

Given by the Historic Planning Commission.   


We were in good company with amazing restoration projects, books and documentaries.

(But we had Miss Maggie sitting on her porch.)

What a honor, to be honored among such wonderful preservationists. 

Dear commissioners forgive us for our occasional criticisms.  Long winded whining. The tear or two.

Our passion comes from our love of and frustration over these wooden things which are just old and frail.

And need us.
