New Soccer Team in Jacksonville

In case anyone else here is interested in soccer, there's a new PDL team that will start playing here next month. PDL is the 4th tier of soccer in the US (MLS is 1st, NASL is 2nd, PDL-Pro is 3rd).

Nice. I miss the Jacksonville Cyclones of the A League. I thought the A league came after MLS.

Yeah, I believe they changed the name of the A-League to the United Soccer League. Then there was a big peeing match between all of the 2nd tier leagues and NASL moved to the 2nd division and USL moved to 3rd and 4th. I miss the Cyclones too. In fact, I'm old enough to miss the Tea Men.

Very nice. This will be very good for the stud high school soccer players who hope to play college soccer or make the pros. Won't be much help for the college grads though other than a way to prolong a career.

I wish they had this program when I was in high school back in the day.

If this team gets enough support can it eventually move to the MLS? Destroyers as in Naval ship?
